Dva slučaja zaraze omikronom identificirana su u Velikoj Britaniji koja uvodi obvezan PCR test za sve dolaske, a dva slučaja potvrdila je i Njemačka u subotu kada se Europom širi zabrinutost zbog nove varijante covida-19 koja je već zaustavila putovanja prema Južnoj Africi gdje je novi soj otkriven.
Do ovih novih slučajeva omikron je, kako su u petak stručnjaci Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) imenovali novu varijantu, bio identificiran u Južnoj Africi, Bocvani, Hong Kongu, Izraelu i Belgiji.
"Dva slučaja covid-19 koji podrazumijevaju mutacije kompatibilne s B.1.1.529 identificirana su u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu", objavilo je britansko ministarstvo zdravstva.
Za Britaniju obvezan PCR test
Ta "dva britanska slučaja varijante omikron" povezana su i identificirana nakon "putovanja u Južnu Afriku", navodi se.
Nošenje maske bit će obvezno u trgovinama i u javnom prijevozu u Velikoj Britaniji najavio je premijer Boris Johnson.
Zbog nove varijante "zahtijevamo da svatko tko ulazi na teritorij Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva ima rezultat PCR testa dva dana po dolasku "i da bude u jzolaciji dok ne dobije rezultat", rekao je.
Do sada e UK-u bio dostatan antigenski test dva dana nakon dolaska za putnike i nikakva izolacija nije bila potrebna do čekanja rezultata, dodaje agencija AFP.
Svi kontakti osobe u koje će biti potvrđena zaraza omikronom morat će u samoizolaciju.
U Bavarskoj potvrđena dva slučaja
Njemačka je potvrdila svoja prva dva slučaja zaraze omikronom u dvije osobe u Muenchenu, objavio je bavarski ministar zdravstva.
Dvije osobe u koje je potvrđena zaraza omikronom stigle su u Njemačku zrakoplov iz Južne Afrike 24. studenoga, objavio je ministar Klaus Holetschek.
U petak je prvi slučaj detektiran u Belgiji u mlade putnice koja je stigla iz Egipta preko Turske.
Države članice Europske unije dogovorile su se u petak da privremeno suspendiraju putovanja iz Južne Afrike u EU nakon otkrića nove varijante koronavirusa.
Odbor koji okuplja zdravstvene stručnjake iz 27 država članica također je pozvao sve zemlje članice da testiraju sve putnike koji dolaze iz te zemlje te da propišu obveznu karantenu.
Šezdeset jedan putnik od njih približno 600 koji su iz Johannesburga stigli u amsterdamsku zračnu luku Schiphol stavljeni je u izolaciju u petak.
Eksplozija u Europi
Dolazak nove varijante u Europu događa se u trenutku kada je kontinent već suočen s eksplozijom zaraza i jača sanitarne mjere.
Strahovi zbog novog soja već su urušili tečaj nafte i petak je bio najgori dan u 17 mjeseci, prema podacima s burze.
Veći broj farmaceutskih tvrtki objavio je da radi na prilagođavanju cjepiva novoj zabrinjavajućoj varijanti koronavirusa.
Novo cjepivo moglo bi "vrlo brzo" biti razvijeno, smatra britanski znanstvenik Andrew Pollard, direktor Grupe s Oxforda koji je vodio istraživanja cjepiva 'Oxford/AstraZeneca.
Pollard smatra "krajnje nemogućim" da se ta varijanta snažno proširi u populaciji koja je cijepljena.
I AstraZeneca, kao i srodni proizvođači kao što su Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna i Novavax izrazili su uvjerenje da su sposobno pobijediti omikron.
Gotovo 54 posto svjetskog stanovništva primilo je najmanje jednu dozu cjepiva protiv covid-19, ali u zemljama niskih prihoda taj postotak iznosi tek 5,6 posto, prema podacima portala Our World in Data.
U JAR-u, afričkoj državi koja je najviše pogođena covidom, potpuno je cijepljeno tek 23,8 posto stanovnika.

Dva slučaja zaraze omikronom identificirana su u Velikoj Britaniji koja uvodi obvezan PCR test za sve dolaske, a dva slučaja potvrdila je i Njemačka u subotu kada se Europom širi zabrinutost zbog nove varijante covida-19 koja je već zaustavila putovanja prema Južnoj Africi gdje je novi soj otkriven.
Do ovih novih slučajeva omikron je, kako su u petak stručnjaci Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije (WHO) imenovali novu varijantu, bio identificiran u Južnoj Africi, Bocvani, Hong Kongu, Izraelu i Belgiji.
"Dva slučaja covid-19 koji podrazumijevaju mutacije kompatibilne s B.1.1.529 identificirana su u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu", objavilo je britansko ministarstvo zdravstva.
Za Britaniju obvezan PCR test
Ta "dva britanska slučaja varijante omikron" povezana su i identificirana nakon "putovanja u Južnu Afriku", navodi se.
Nošenje maske bit će obvezno u trgovinama i u javnom prijevozu u Velikoj Britaniji najavio je premijer Boris Johnson.
Zbog nove varijante "zahtijevamo da svatko tko ulazi na teritorij Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva ima rezultat PCR testa dva dana po dolasku "i da bude u jzolaciji dok ne dobije rezultat", rekao je.
Do sada e UK-u bio dostatan antigenski test dva dana nakon dolaska za putnike i nikakva izolacija nije bila potrebna do čekanja rezultata, dodaje agencija AFP.
Svi kontakti osobe u koje će biti potvrđena zaraza omikronom morat će u samoizolaciju.
U Bavarskoj potvrđena dva slučaja
Njemačka je potvrdila svoja prva dva slučaja zaraze omikronom u dvije osobe u Muenchenu, objavio je bavarski ministar zdravstva.
Dvije osobe u koje je potvrđena zaraza omikronom stigle su u Njemačku zrakoplov iz Južne Afrike 24. studenoga, objavio je ministar Klaus Holetschek.
U petak je prvi slučaj detektiran u Belgiji u mlade putnice koja je stigla iz Egipta preko Turske.
Države članice Europske unije dogovorile su se u petak da privremeno suspendiraju putovanja iz Južne Afrike u EU nakon otkrića nove varijante koronavirusa.
Odbor koji okuplja zdravstvene stručnjake iz 27 država članica također je pozvao sve zemlje članice da testiraju sve putnike koji dolaze iz te zemlje te da propišu obveznu karantenu.
Šezdeset jedan putnik od njih približno 600 koji su iz Johannesburga stigli u amsterdamsku zračnu luku Schiphol stavljeni je u izolaciju u petak.
Eksplozija u Europi
Dolazak nove varijante u Europu događa se u trenutku kada je kontinent već suočen s eksplozijom zaraza i jača sanitarne mjere.
Strahovi zbog novog soja već su urušili tečaj nafte i petak je bio najgori dan u 17 mjeseci, prema podacima s burze.
Veći broj farmaceutskih tvrtki objavio je da radi na prilagođavanju cjepiva novoj zabrinjavajućoj varijanti koronavirusa.
Novo cjepivo moglo bi "vrlo brzo" biti razvijeno, smatra britanski znanstvenik Andrew Pollard, direktor Grupe s Oxforda koji je vodio istraživanja cjepiva 'Oxford/AstraZeneca.
Pollard smatra "krajnje nemogućim" da se ta varijanta snažno proširi u populaciji koja je cijepljena.
I AstraZeneca, kao i srodni proizvođači kao što su Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna i Novavax izrazili su uvjerenje da su sposobno pobijediti omikron.
Gotovo 54 posto svjetskog stanovništva primilo je najmanje jednu dozu cjepiva protiv covid-19, ali u zemljama niskih prihoda taj postotak iznosi tek 5,6 posto, prema podacima portala Our World in Data.
U JAR-u, afričkoj državi koja je najviše pogođena covidom, potpuno je cijepljeno tek 23,8 posto stanovnika.
