Dugoročnu prognozu za ovu zimu dao je meteorolog Nove TV Nikola Vikić Topić. On kaže da su u ovom stoljeću zime češće blage nego hladne, a posljednja prosječno hladna zima u Hrvatskoj bila je 2016./2017. godine. Današnji prvašići tako ni ne znaju za pravu zimu, kaže Vikić Topić.
Ipak, podsjeća i na 2012. godinu kada je snijeg pao u Dalmaciji i 2013. kada je zatrpao Zagreb. 2003. godine je u Gračacu izmjerena najniža temperatura zraka u Hrvatskoj - minus 34,6 stupnjeva Celzijevih.
Prije toga se rekordne zime bilježe 1985., kada je u Rijeci palo 28 cm snijega, i 1963., kada ga je u Karlovcu bilo 66 centimetara, a na Malom Lošinju 13. U Zagrebu je u veljači 1956. bilo minus 27, a u Gospiću čak -33,5 stupnjeva. No, ove nam godine predstoji blaga zima, vjerojatno toplija nego ona prošle godine.
Meteorolog Vikić Topić za Novu TV je rekao da na vrijeme u Europi utječu zbivanja nad Atlantikom, snijeg u Sibiru i poznati El Niño, koji prouzrokuje malo toplije zime u južnoj Europi. Tako će i ove godine toplija zima biti na jugu Europe, a hladnija od prosjeka na sjeveru. Hladni prodori bit će vjerojatniji na kraju zime, a bit će i više oborine, posebice na Jadranu.
Prosinac će do kraja mjeseca biti topao pa nema više nade za bijeli Božić. Ovo je 16. godina zaredom bez snijega na Božić. Na Staru godinu će ipak biti nešto hladnije nego na Božić, uz pet do osam stupnjeva nižu temperaturu, no ona i dalje neće ići ispod nule.
I siječanj će biti topliji od prosjeka ove zime, no bit će i više kiše nego obično. Na kopnu se zbog čestih prolazaka ciklona očekuje manje dugotrajnih magli. Na obali će vjerojatnije puhati jugo, a manje bura.
Toplija od prosjeka će biti i veljača, no ne u toj mjeri kao siječanj, a može se očekivati već karakteristična prevrtljivost toga mjeseca. Najveća je mogućnost bure, snijega i hladnoće ove zime upravo u veljači, no očekuju se samo jedna do dvije ozbiljnije hladne epizode.
Meteorolog Nove TV ističe da se prvi hladni prodor događa obično između 5. i 10. veljače, a drugi između 10. i 15. veljače.

Dugoročnu prognozu za ovu zimu dao je meteorolog Nove TV Nikola Vikić Topić. On kaže da su u ovom stoljeću zime češće blage nego hladne, a posljednja prosječno hladna zima u Hrvatskoj bila je 2016./2017. godine. Današnji prvašići tako ni ne znaju za pravu zimu, kaže Vikić Topić.
Ipak, podsjeća i na 2012. godinu kada je snijeg pao u Dalmaciji i 2013. kada je zatrpao Zagreb. 2003. godine je u Gračacu izmjerena najniža temperatura zraka u Hrvatskoj - minus 34,6 stupnjeva Celzijevih.
Prije toga se rekordne zime bilježe 1985., kada je u Rijeci palo 28 cm snijega, i 1963., kada ga je u Karlovcu bilo 66 centimetara, a na Malom Lošinju 13. U Zagrebu je u veljači 1956. bilo minus 27, a u Gospiću čak -33,5 stupnjeva. No, ove nam godine predstoji blaga zima, vjerojatno toplija nego ona prošle godine.
Meteorolog Vikić Topić za Novu TV je rekao da na vrijeme u Europi utječu zbivanja nad Atlantikom, snijeg u Sibiru i poznati El Niño, koji prouzrokuje malo toplije zime u južnoj Europi. Tako će i ove godine toplija zima biti na jugu Europe, a hladnija od prosjeka na sjeveru. Hladni prodori bit će vjerojatniji na kraju zime, a bit će i više oborine, posebice na Jadranu.
Prosinac će do kraja mjeseca biti topao pa nema više nade za bijeli Božić. Ovo je 16. godina zaredom bez snijega na Božić. Na Staru godinu će ipak biti nešto hladnije nego na Božić, uz pet do osam stupnjeva nižu temperaturu, no ona i dalje neće ići ispod nule.
I siječanj će biti topliji od prosjeka ove zime, no bit će i više kiše nego obično. Na kopnu se zbog čestih prolazaka ciklona očekuje manje dugotrajnih magli. Na obali će vjerojatnije puhati jugo, a manje bura.
Toplija od prosjeka će biti i veljača, no ne u toj mjeri kao siječanj, a može se očekivati već karakteristična prevrtljivost toga mjeseca. Najveća je mogućnost bure, snijega i hladnoće ove zime upravo u veljači, no očekuju se samo jedna do dvije ozbiljnije hladne epizode.
Meteorolog Nove TV ističe da se prvi hladni prodor događa obično između 5. i 10. veljače, a drugi između 10. i 15. veljače.
