Jadransko more preplavile su meduze, nadasve u njegovu sjevernom dijelu, piše Novi list. Takve informacije posljednjih dana pristižu s raznih dijelova naše obale i otoka, prenosi Jutarnji list.
Meduze nisu novost u našem moru, one su njegovi stalni stanovnici, međutim, ove je godine njihova pojava izuzetno masovna i – traje mjesecima.

U zimskim i proljetnim mjesecima istarski ribari dizali su mreže pune meduza. Njihova težina višestruko je nadilazila težinu ulovljene ribe. Problem je eskalirao do toga da su neki privremeno vezali brodove. U manjem obimu bilo ih je, a ima ih i sada, i u ostalim područjima.
Najučestalije vrste
U Jadranskom moru najučestalije meduze su uhati klobuk, morska mjesečina, morska pluća i mediteranska meduza.
Dodir morske mjesečine čovjeku može prirediti najviše neugodnosti, a za čovjeka je opasna iz razloga što boravi neposredno ispod površine, ne dublje od 10 metara.
Uhati klobuk najučestalija je pak jadranska meduza, a kupači je se ne trebaju bojati, dodir njenih lovki ne žari.
Najveća, ali ne previše rasprostranjena jadranska meduza ima naziv morska pluća. Dodir te velike meduze potpuno je bezopasan, eventualno može rezultirati lakšim osipom kože. Ona se pojavljuje pojedinačno.

U posljednje vrijeme najviše se govori o kompas meduzi, rijetkoj jadranskoj vrsti. Više je stanovnik Atlantskog oceana i Sredozemnog mora. Istina je, ove godine bilježi se njeno puno češće pojavljivanje, što se može smatrati neuobičajenim za naše more. Za čovjeka je opasna, ne baš poput morske mjesečine, ali nakon dodira s njenim lovkama nastaju plikovi slični opeklinama. Zato, prilikom kupanja potreban je oprez. Prepoznatljiva je po žutosmeđem uzorku na površini klobuka, koji sliči kompasu.
Ožiljci
Pojedinačnu meduzu, ako je pravodobno uočimo, lako se može izbjeći. Najgore je kad plivač uleti u masu malih, ali opako vatrenih meduza. Nema načina da ispliva netaknut. Pretjerano mlataranje rukama, u pokušaju da ih se otjera od sebe, rezultirat će još većim opeklinama.
Otrov meduze na čovjekovoj koži izaziva crvenilo, plikove, osip i otekline, bol je slična bolu od opekline. Nastale promjene, pa čak i ožiljci mogu se zadržati mjesecima. Nakon susreta s meduzom većina ljudi reagira instinktivno i čine ono što ne smiju – mjesto dodira počnu trljati, nastojeći ukloniti lovke. Time, međutim, čine suprotno, još više ih utrljavaju u kožu.

Opečeno mjesto treba isprati morskom vodom, nikako slatkom. Tim postupkom odstranjuju se lovke. Da bi ih se do kraja uklonilo i neutraliziralo, opeklina se polije octom, ili se na nju stavi octene obloge, da ne bi došlo do infekcije. Umjesto octa, može poslužiti i limunov sok, ili farmaceutski alkohol. Ako na moru nema ničega drugoga, što je lako moguće, na opeklinu se može pomokriti. Moguće je i stvaranje vodenih mjehura, kao kod toplinskih opeklina. Njih se ne smije istiskivati ili bušiti. U nepovoljnijim situacijama treba što prije potražiti pomoć liječnika, piše Novi list, a prenosi Jutarnji list.

Jadransko more preplavile su meduze, nadasve u njegovu sjevernom dijelu, piše Novi list. Takve informacije posljednjih dana pristižu s raznih dijelova naše obale i otoka, prenosi Jutarnji list.
Meduze nisu novost u našem moru, one su njegovi stalni stanovnici, međutim, ove je godine njihova pojava izuzetno masovna i – traje mjesecima.

U zimskim i proljetnim mjesecima istarski ribari dizali su mreže pune meduza. Njihova težina višestruko je nadilazila težinu ulovljene ribe. Problem je eskalirao do toga da su neki privremeno vezali brodove. U manjem obimu bilo ih je, a ima ih i sada, i u ostalim područjima.
Najučestalije vrste
U Jadranskom moru najučestalije meduze su uhati klobuk, morska mjesečina, morska pluća i mediteranska meduza.
Dodir morske mjesečine čovjeku može prirediti najviše neugodnosti, a za čovjeka je opasna iz razloga što boravi neposredno ispod površine, ne dublje od 10 metara.
Uhati klobuk najučestalija je pak jadranska meduza, a kupači je se ne trebaju bojati, dodir njenih lovki ne žari.
Najveća, ali ne previše rasprostranjena jadranska meduza ima naziv morska pluća. Dodir te velike meduze potpuno je bezopasan, eventualno može rezultirati lakšim osipom kože. Ona se pojavljuje pojedinačno.

U posljednje vrijeme najviše se govori o kompas meduzi, rijetkoj jadranskoj vrsti. Više je stanovnik Atlantskog oceana i Sredozemnog mora. Istina je, ove godine bilježi se njeno puno češće pojavljivanje, što se može smatrati neuobičajenim za naše more. Za čovjeka je opasna, ne baš poput morske mjesečine, ali nakon dodira s njenim lovkama nastaju plikovi slični opeklinama. Zato, prilikom kupanja potreban je oprez. Prepoznatljiva je po žutosmeđem uzorku na površini klobuka, koji sliči kompasu.
Ožiljci
Pojedinačnu meduzu, ako je pravodobno uočimo, lako se može izbjeći. Najgore je kad plivač uleti u masu malih, ali opako vatrenih meduza. Nema načina da ispliva netaknut. Pretjerano mlataranje rukama, u pokušaju da ih se otjera od sebe, rezultirat će još većim opeklinama.
Otrov meduze na čovjekovoj koži izaziva crvenilo, plikove, osip i otekline, bol je slična bolu od opekline. Nastale promjene, pa čak i ožiljci mogu se zadržati mjesecima. Nakon susreta s meduzom većina ljudi reagira instinktivno i čine ono što ne smiju – mjesto dodira počnu trljati, nastojeći ukloniti lovke. Time, međutim, čine suprotno, još više ih utrljavaju u kožu.

Opečeno mjesto treba isprati morskom vodom, nikako slatkom. Tim postupkom odstranjuju se lovke. Da bi ih se do kraja uklonilo i neutraliziralo, opeklina se polije octom, ili se na nju stavi octene obloge, da ne bi došlo do infekcije. Umjesto octa, može poslužiti i limunov sok, ili farmaceutski alkohol. Ako na moru nema ničega drugoga, što je lako moguće, na opeklinu se može pomokriti. Moguće je i stvaranje vodenih mjehura, kao kod toplinskih opeklina. Njih se ne smije istiskivati ili bušiti. U nepovoljnijim situacijama treba što prije potražiti pomoć liječnika, piše Novi list, a prenosi Jutarnji list.
