Na TikToku se mogu pronaći razna videa u kojima pojedinci tvrde neke stvari koje nisu potkrijepljene nikakvim znanstvenim dokazima. Neka videa su zanimljiva, neka nas ostavljaju u čudu, neka nas i šokiraju. Jedan video o njegi kože  (navodno učvršćivanje i zaglađivanje kože te pospješivanje liječenja akni) privukao je članove redakcije časopisa Recipe, kojeg vode i uređuju studenti zagrebačkog Farmaceutsko-biokemijskog fakulteta u Zagrebu i koji su prijašnjih godina često stručno i detaljno analizirali slične mitove. Njihova članica Anna Ipša detaljno je secirala video, prenosi Srednja.

- Postati vrsni dermatolog, ili bilo kakav doktor, u svijetu društvenih mreža uistinu nije težak pothvat. Sve što pruža brz i ‘djelotvoran’ odgovor na probleme pratitelja ima šansu postati hit. Zbog toga onda nije začuđujuće što je najnoviji trend koji kruži društvenim mrežama upravo maska za lice od menstrualne krvi. Popis sastojaka ‘maske’, ali i njeni učinci, su uistinu impresivni. Međutim, koliko je istine u ovoj ‘čudotvornoj’ masci, pita se Anna Ipša.

Menstrualnom krvi do savršene kože lica?

Pokretači trenda tvrde kako ova maska može poboljšati teksturu, ali i pomoći pri učvršćivanju i zaglađivanju kože. Nadalje, osim što tvrde da pridonose smanjenju bora, tvrde i da je uspješna u liječenju i prevenciji akni. Na pitanje kako, pokretači trenda kažu da odgovor nalazimo u sastavu same menstrualne krvi: matične stanice (kao najbitnija sastavnica), cink, magnezij, željezo, kalcij, cervikalna sluz, endometrijske stanice…

Naime, sve navedene komponente menstrualne krvi nisu daleko od istine. Menstrualna krv složena je tjelesna tekućina koja se sastoji od endometrija i imunoloških stanica koje se izlučuju iz maternice, vaginalne tekućine i, naravno, krvi. Ova krv uistinu sadrži natrij, kalciji te željezo. Međutim, ovdje na scenu stupa znanost.

Znanost vs. TikTok trend

Što su uopće matične stanice? To su stanice koje su sposobne pretvoriti se u više od 200 tipova, ili razvojnih stadija, stanica u odraslom ljudskom organizmu. Sadrži li uopće menstrualna krv matične stanice? Uistinu sadrži. No, njihova će aplikacija putem ove maske biti vrlo neuspješna, a razlog tome je lako pronaći ako se vratimo u mikroskopski svijet kože i kozmetičkih proizvoda.

Naime, kozmetičke proizvode izrađuju stručnjaci u području dermatologije. Koža se sastoji od epidermisa, gornjeg sloja kože, i dermisa. Za ovu priču bitan nam je gornji sloj kože, odnosno epidermis. Lipofilnog je karaktera (ima sposobnost da se otapa u lipidima ili masti) te predstavlja glavnu barijeru kroz koju aktivne tvari moraju prodrijeti da bi djelovale. Naravno, neke tvari mogu djelovati i u samom epidermisu. Kozmetički proizvodi su sastavljeni od podloge, u kojoj se nalaze aktivne tvari, zatim aktivnih tvari i pomoćnih tvari koje omogućuju stabilnost proizvoda, prenosi Srednja.

Zajedno dobivamo formulaciju kozmetičkog proizvoda. Kada stupaju u kontakt s kožom, kako bi uopće došlo do njihovog djelovanja, aktivne tvari moraju biti odgovarajuće lipofilnosti (gornji je sloj kože lipofilnog karaktera), veličine (ukoliko su molekule prevelike ne mogu proći kroz kožu) te moraju biti kompatibilne s međustaničnim lipidima. Ukratko rečeno, slično se u sličnome otapa, a ako imamo ogromnu negativno nabijenu molekulu, što je u kompletnoj suprotnosti s nečim lipofilnim, ona ne može proći kožnu barijeru te stoga neće učiniti mnogo za vašu kožu. Zato je iznimno bitna formulacija kozmetičkih proizvoda, a menstrualna krv ne ispunjava gotovo ni jedan kriteriji kvalitetne formulacije. Jednostavnije rečeno, svi navedeni sastojci iz menstrualne krvi ne mogu se tek tako ‘upiti’ u kožu.

Zbogom akne?

Apsurd u cijeloj priči jest – lijek protiv akni. Akne su česta upalna bolest kože koja zahvaća pilosebacealne jedinice (koja se sastoje od osovina dlake, folikula dlake, žlijezde lojnice i mišića arrector pili) kože. Za sam nastanak akni odgovorne su i bakterije poput Propionibacterium acnes. Stoga, nanošenje menstrualne krvi na lice može čak i povećati upalu zbog kontaminacije same krvi drugim tekućinama iz genitalnog trakta.

Istina ili mit?

Priču zaključujemo tako da ovaj trend bacamo u koš s mitovima interneta. Međutim, navedeni su mnogi sastojci menstrualne krvi koji bi, jednom izolirani, mogli pronaći svoju svrhu u medicini. Iako ovaj trend nije pogodio sa samom primjenom ‘proizvoda’, možda i jest na tragu dobre ideje. Vidjet ćemo što će budućnost medicine reći, a do tada ćemo se zadovoljiti standardnim kozmetičkim proizvodima, prenosi Srednja.

Na TikToku se mogu pronaći razna videa u kojima pojedinci tvrde neke stvari koje nisu potkrijepljene nikakvim znanstvenim dokazima. Neka videa su zanimljiva, neka nas ostavljaju u čudu, neka nas i šokiraju. Jedan video o njegi kože  (navodno učvršćivanje i zaglađivanje kože te pospješivanje liječenja akni) privukao je članove redakcije časopisa Recipe, kojeg vode i uređuju studenti zagrebačkog Farmaceutsko-biokemijskog fakulteta u Zagrebu i koji su prijašnjih godina često stručno i detaljno analizirali slične mitove. Njihova članica Anna Ipša detaljno je secirala video, prenosi Srednja.

- Postati vrsni dermatolog, ili bilo kakav doktor, u svijetu društvenih mreža uistinu nije težak pothvat. Sve što pruža brz i ‘djelotvoran’ odgovor na probleme pratitelja ima šansu postati hit. Zbog toga onda nije začuđujuće što je najnoviji trend koji kruži društvenim mrežama upravo maska za lice od menstrualne krvi. Popis sastojaka ‘maske’, ali i njeni učinci, su uistinu impresivni. Međutim, koliko je istine u ovoj ‘čudotvornoj’ masci, pita se Anna Ipša.

Menstrualnom krvi do savršene kože lica?

Pokretači trenda tvrde kako ova maska može poboljšati teksturu, ali i pomoći pri učvršćivanju i zaglađivanju kože. Nadalje, osim što tvrde da pridonose smanjenju bora, tvrde i da je uspješna u liječenju i prevenciji akni. Na pitanje kako, pokretači trenda kažu da odgovor nalazimo u sastavu same menstrualne krvi: matične stanice (kao najbitnija sastavnica), cink, magnezij, željezo, kalcij, cervikalna sluz, endometrijske stanice…

Naime, sve navedene komponente menstrualne krvi nisu daleko od istine. Menstrualna krv složena je tjelesna tekućina koja se sastoji od endometrija i imunoloških stanica koje se izlučuju iz maternice, vaginalne tekućine i, naravno, krvi. Ova krv uistinu sadrži natrij, kalciji te željezo. Međutim, ovdje na scenu stupa znanost.

Znanost vs. TikTok trend

Što su uopće matične stanice? To su stanice koje su sposobne pretvoriti se u više od 200 tipova, ili razvojnih stadija, stanica u odraslom ljudskom organizmu. Sadrži li uopće menstrualna krv matične stanice? Uistinu sadrži. No, njihova će aplikacija putem ove maske biti vrlo neuspješna, a razlog tome je lako pronaći ako se vratimo u mikroskopski svijet kože i kozmetičkih proizvoda.

Naime, kozmetičke proizvode izrađuju stručnjaci u području dermatologije. Koža se sastoji od epidermisa, gornjeg sloja kože, i dermisa. Za ovu priču bitan nam je gornji sloj kože, odnosno epidermis. Lipofilnog je karaktera (ima sposobnost da se otapa u lipidima ili masti) te predstavlja glavnu barijeru kroz koju aktivne tvari moraju prodrijeti da bi djelovale. Naravno, neke tvari mogu djelovati i u samom epidermisu. Kozmetički proizvodi su sastavljeni od podloge, u kojoj se nalaze aktivne tvari, zatim aktivnih tvari i pomoćnih tvari koje omogućuju stabilnost proizvoda, prenosi Srednja.

Zajedno dobivamo formulaciju kozmetičkog proizvoda. Kada stupaju u kontakt s kožom, kako bi uopće došlo do njihovog djelovanja, aktivne tvari moraju biti odgovarajuće lipofilnosti (gornji je sloj kože lipofilnog karaktera), veličine (ukoliko su molekule prevelike ne mogu proći kroz kožu) te moraju biti kompatibilne s međustaničnim lipidima. Ukratko rečeno, slično se u sličnome otapa, a ako imamo ogromnu negativno nabijenu molekulu, što je u kompletnoj suprotnosti s nečim lipofilnim, ona ne može proći kožnu barijeru te stoga neće učiniti mnogo za vašu kožu. Zato je iznimno bitna formulacija kozmetičkih proizvoda, a menstrualna krv ne ispunjava gotovo ni jedan kriteriji kvalitetne formulacije. Jednostavnije rečeno, svi navedeni sastojci iz menstrualne krvi ne mogu se tek tako ‘upiti’ u kožu.

Zbogom akne?

Apsurd u cijeloj priči jest – lijek protiv akni. Akne su česta upalna bolest kože koja zahvaća pilosebacealne jedinice (koja se sastoje od osovina dlake, folikula dlake, žlijezde lojnice i mišića arrector pili) kože. Za sam nastanak akni odgovorne su i bakterije poput Propionibacterium acnes. Stoga, nanošenje menstrualne krvi na lice može čak i povećati upalu zbog kontaminacije same krvi drugim tekućinama iz genitalnog trakta.

Istina ili mit?

Priču zaključujemo tako da ovaj trend bacamo u koš s mitovima interneta. Međutim, navedeni su mnogi sastojci menstrualne krvi koji bi, jednom izolirani, mogli pronaći svoju svrhu u medicini. Iako ovaj trend nije pogodio sa samom primjenom ‘proizvoda’, možda i jest na tragu dobre ideje. Vidjet ćemo što će budućnost medicine reći, a do tada ćemo se zadovoljiti standardnim kozmetičkim proizvodima, prenosi Srednja.
