Zbog pandemije koronavirusa ljudi su postali svjesniji važnosti higijene i održavanja predmeta čistima. No što je s pametnim telefonom, uređajem kojim većina od nas rukuje više puta dnevno ili ga prislanja uz lice?
Najprije dobra vijest: "Suvremeni mobilni telefoni nisu u tolikoj mjeri širitelji mikroba", kaže Markus Egert , profesor mikrobiologije i higijene s njemačkog Sveučilišta Furtwangen.
"U usporedbi s brojem mikroba na ljudskim rukama, mogli bismo reći da je njihov broj na mobitelima zanemariv. Za zdravog čovjeka koji koristi mobilni telefon u vlastitu domaćinstvu klice na njemu ne predstavljaju opasnost", kaže Egert.
"Suvremene pametne telefone odlikuju glatke površine, zbog čega se na njih 'lijepi' manji broj klica. One se na takvim površinama nemaju čime hraniti pa se ne uspijevaju ni razmnožavati. Nasuprot tomu, broj bakterija pronađenih na tipkama starih mobitela bio je puno veći", pojasnio je stručnjak.
Dodaje i da način i mjesta na kojima koristite mobitel utječu na to koliko se mikroba na njemu nakupilo.
"Površina smartphonea odraz je svijesti o higijeni njegova korisnika", kaže Sebastian Kloess iz njemačkog Bitkoma. Svi oni koji rijetko peru ruke, koriste pametne telefone dok jedu i nose ih sa sobom u zahod ili u kupaonicu, na svoj će uređaj prenijeti znatno više mikroba od onih koji to ne čine.
O stanju vašega pametnog telefona ovisi i količina mikroba koja će se zalijepiti za njegovu površinu. "Bakterije, virusi i plijesni osobito dobro prianjaju uz ogrebotine", upozorava Kloess.
Ranija istraživanja otkrila su različite vrste bakterija i virusa na telefonima. Uobičajeno je na njima pronaći bakterije koje žive na našoj koži, u respiratornom traktu kao i bakterije koje žive u fekalijama. I dok većinu čine bakterije od kojih se nećemo razboljeti, nisu sve u potpunosti bezopasne. Različite studije pokazale su da na mobilnim telefonima žive E. coli, MRSA i streptokok.
U nekim slučajevima morate biti izloženi utjecaju tisuća mikroba da biste se razboljeli pa sama njihova prisutnost na mobitelima nije nužno razlog za zabrinutost.
Proizvođači pametnih telefona, poput Applea i Samsunga na svojim internetskim stranicama nude upute i savjete za njihovo čišćenje. Savjetuju da se uređaj isključi prije početka čišćenja te da se pritom koristi mekana krpa od mikrovlakana. Ako je mobitel jako prljav savjetuju njegovo čišćenje uz pomoć mekane vlažne krpe na koju se stavilo i malo sapuna.

Egert kaže da mobitel, koji nije jako prljav, nije potrebno dezinficirati jer se koronavirus uklanja i običnim sapunom. Upozorava da sredstva za čišćenje, poput onih za stakla ili sredstva na bazi alkohola mogu oštetiti premaz koji odbija masnoću sa zaslona pametnog telefona.
Koliko ćete često čistiti svoj pametni telefon u konačnici ovisi o načinu na koji ga upotrebljavate, kaže Bernd Glassl iz njemačke Udruge industrije deterdženata i osobne higijene. Ako često putujete, ako susrećete puno različitih ljudi ili koristite telefon u svojoj kuhinji, svakako biste ga trebali čistiti češće.

Zbog pandemije koronavirusa ljudi su postali svjesniji važnosti higijene i održavanja predmeta čistima. No što je s pametnim telefonom, uređajem kojim većina od nas rukuje više puta dnevno ili ga prislanja uz lice?
Najprije dobra vijest: "Suvremeni mobilni telefoni nisu u tolikoj mjeri širitelji mikroba", kaže Markus Egert , profesor mikrobiologije i higijene s njemačkog Sveučilišta Furtwangen.
"U usporedbi s brojem mikroba na ljudskim rukama, mogli bismo reći da je njihov broj na mobitelima zanemariv. Za zdravog čovjeka koji koristi mobilni telefon u vlastitu domaćinstvu klice na njemu ne predstavljaju opasnost", kaže Egert.
"Suvremene pametne telefone odlikuju glatke površine, zbog čega se na njih 'lijepi' manji broj klica. One se na takvim površinama nemaju čime hraniti pa se ne uspijevaju ni razmnožavati. Nasuprot tomu, broj bakterija pronađenih na tipkama starih mobitela bio je puno veći", pojasnio je stručnjak.
Dodaje i da način i mjesta na kojima koristite mobitel utječu na to koliko se mikroba na njemu nakupilo.
"Površina smartphonea odraz je svijesti o higijeni njegova korisnika", kaže Sebastian Kloess iz njemačkog Bitkoma. Svi oni koji rijetko peru ruke, koriste pametne telefone dok jedu i nose ih sa sobom u zahod ili u kupaonicu, na svoj će uređaj prenijeti znatno više mikroba od onih koji to ne čine.
O stanju vašega pametnog telefona ovisi i količina mikroba koja će se zalijepiti za njegovu površinu. "Bakterije, virusi i plijesni osobito dobro prianjaju uz ogrebotine", upozorava Kloess.
Ranija istraživanja otkrila su različite vrste bakterija i virusa na telefonima. Uobičajeno je na njima pronaći bakterije koje žive na našoj koži, u respiratornom traktu kao i bakterije koje žive u fekalijama. I dok većinu čine bakterije od kojih se nećemo razboljeti, nisu sve u potpunosti bezopasne. Različite studije pokazale su da na mobilnim telefonima žive E. coli, MRSA i streptokok.
U nekim slučajevima morate biti izloženi utjecaju tisuća mikroba da biste se razboljeli pa sama njihova prisutnost na mobitelima nije nužno razlog za zabrinutost.
Proizvođači pametnih telefona, poput Applea i Samsunga na svojim internetskim stranicama nude upute i savjete za njihovo čišćenje. Savjetuju da se uređaj isključi prije početka čišćenja te da se pritom koristi mekana krpa od mikrovlakana. Ako je mobitel jako prljav savjetuju njegovo čišćenje uz pomoć mekane vlažne krpe na koju se stavilo i malo sapuna.

Egert kaže da mobitel, koji nije jako prljav, nije potrebno dezinficirati jer se koronavirus uklanja i običnim sapunom. Upozorava da sredstva za čišćenje, poput onih za stakla ili sredstva na bazi alkohola mogu oštetiti premaz koji odbija masnoću sa zaslona pametnog telefona.
Koliko ćete često čistiti svoj pametni telefon u konačnici ovisi o načinu na koji ga upotrebljavate, kaže Bernd Glassl iz njemačke Udruge industrije deterdženata i osobne higijene. Ako često putujete, ako susrećete puno različitih ljudi ili koristite telefon u svojoj kuhinji, svakako biste ga trebali čistiti češće.
