Sezona je prehlade koja često za posljedicu ima suhu i nadraženu nosnu sluznicu. No, takvi problemi nisu nužno vezani samo uz razdoblja oporavka od viroza. Za suhi nos mogu biti odgovorni i drugi čimbenici, poput boravka u prostorijama u kojima je zrak vrlo suh zbog grijanja, alergija ili dehidracije. Donosimo vam nekoliko korisnih savjeta koji mogu pomoći.

Nikako ne koristite vazelin
Nos je svakako jedan od najvažnijih organa. Ne samo da uz njegovu pomoć možemo detektirati najrazličitije mirise, već je i nos izuzetno važan zbog svoje obrambene funkcije. Dlačice u našim nosnicama dio su "prve linije obrane", poput naše kože, jer onemogućuju ulazak prašine, alergena, patogenih mikroorganizama i drugih štetnih tvari. Briga za zdravu, dobro navlaženu nosnu sluznicu stoga je vrlo važna.
Valja napomenuti da nikada ne smijete koristiti vazelin za vlaženje nosne sluznice. Ako vazelin nađe put do pluća, mogući su ozbiljni problemi, uključujući poseban oblik upale pluća koji može biti izuzetno opasan (tzv. lipoidna pneumonija).
Srećom, postoji mnoštvo alternativnih mogućnosti za brzo i učinkovito, ali istovremeno i sigurno vlaženje nosne sluznice.
1. Kokosovo ulje
Čak i mala količina kokosovog ulja može riješiti probleme. Riječ je o ulju koje će izdašno navlažiti nosnu sluznicu. Ulje ima i ugodan miris i antibakterijski učinak. Ulje prvo lagano zagrijte da prijeđe u tekuće agregatno stanje. Prije upotrebe provjerite da nije prevruće jer se inače možete opeći. Zatim lagano umočite vrh čistog pamučnog štapića u kokosovo ulje i nježno protrljajte štapić oko unutarnje strane nosa.
2. Bademovo ulje + aloe vera gel
Kombinacija gela aloe vere i bademovog ulja također može brzo ovlažiti nadraženu i suhu nosnu sluznicu. Ulje će omekšati nježnu kožu unutar nosa i spriječiti ubrzani gubitak vlage. Aloe vera smiruje nadraženu sluznicu. Potrebno je prije upotrebe gel aloe vere ohladite u hladnjaku, a zatim pomiješati ¼ žličice gela i ½ žličicu bademovog ulja. Za pomoć pri nanošenju možete koristiti i pamučni štapić.
3. Ulje s vitaminom E
Vitamin E pomaže učinkovitijem vlaženju nosne sluznice. Ujedno je riječ o tvari s izraženim protuupalnim djelovanjem, koja spada u jake antioksidanse. Ulje s dodatkom vitamina E stoga može biti odlična pomoć kod problema sa suhom sluznicom, ali ublažiti simptome uzrokovane alergijskim rinitisom, poznatijim kao peludna groznica.
4. Ulje pšeničnih klica
Ulje pšeničnih klica smatra se jednim od najboljih izvora vitamina E, odnosno uljem koje sadrži najveću količinu spomenutog vitamina među svim uljima. Umjesto posebnog ulja s dodatkom vitamina E, za vlaženje suhe nosne sluznice možete koristiti i ulje pšeničnih klica. Sigurno ćete vrlo brzo primijetiti poboljšanje.

5. Na pari
Umjesto izravnog vlaženja nosne sluznice, možete se odlučiti i za neizravno vlaženje uz pomoć pare. Na raspolaganju su vam različite metode - od inhalacija nad kipućom vodom do toplih tuševa i kupki. Para omogućuje vrlo brzo vlaženje nosne sluznice i olakšava disanje.
6. Niža temperatura + ovlaživač zraka
Jako intenzivno zagrijavanje prostora nije dobro ni za okoliš ni za novčanik. Također je štetan za vašu kožu i nosnu sluznicu. Ako se često borite sa suhom sluznicom svakako je preporuka da pokušate smanjiti temperaturu u svom domu barem za stupanj-dva. Pritom ima smisla koristiti i ovlaživače zraka.
7. Sauna
Poznato je da sauna potiče prokrvljenost i učinkovitiju detoksikaciju organizma te jača imunološki sustav. Između ostalog, metoda je korisna i za ublažavanje problema s vrlo suhom, nadraženom sluznicom nosa, ali samo ako odaberete vrstu saune u kojoj zrak nije pretjerano suh. Najbolji izbor je "turska sauna", poznata i kao parna sauna.

No, takvi problemi nisu nužno vezani samo uz razdoblja oporavka od viroza. Za suhi nos mogu biti odgovorni i drugi čimbenici, poput boravka u prostorijama u kojima je zrak vrlo suh zbog grijanja, alergija ili dehidracije. Donosimo vam nekoliko korisnih savjeta koji mogu pomoći.

Nikako ne koristite vazelin
Nos je svakako jedan od najvažnijih organa. Ne samo da uz njegovu pomoć možemo detektirati najrazličitije mirise, već je i nos izuzetno važan zbog svoje obrambene funkcije. Dlačice u našim nosnicama dio su "prve linije obrane", poput naše kože, jer onemogućuju ulazak prašine, alergena, patogenih mikroorganizama i drugih štetnih tvari. Briga za zdravu, dobro navlaženu nosnu sluznicu stoga je vrlo važna.
Valja napomenuti da nikada ne smijete koristiti vazelin za vlaženje nosne sluznice. Ako vazelin nađe put do pluća, mogući su ozbiljni problemi, uključujući poseban oblik upale pluća koji može biti izuzetno opasan (tzv. lipoidna pneumonija).
Srećom, postoji mnoštvo alternativnih mogućnosti za brzo i učinkovito, ali istovremeno i sigurno vlaženje nosne sluznice.
1. Kokosovo ulje
Čak i mala količina kokosovog ulja može riješiti probleme. Riječ je o ulju koje će izdašno navlažiti nosnu sluznicu. Ulje ima i ugodan miris i antibakterijski učinak. Ulje prvo lagano zagrijte da prijeđe u tekuće agregatno stanje. Prije upotrebe provjerite da nije prevruće jer se inače možete opeći. Zatim lagano umočite vrh čistog pamučnog štapića u kokosovo ulje i nježno protrljajte štapić oko unutarnje strane nosa.
2. Bademovo ulje + aloe vera gel
Kombinacija gela aloe vere i bademovog ulja također može brzo ovlažiti nadraženu i suhu nosnu sluznicu. Ulje će omekšati nježnu kožu unutar nosa i spriječiti ubrzani gubitak vlage. Aloe vera smiruje nadraženu sluznicu. Potrebno je prije upotrebe gel aloe vere ohladite u hladnjaku, a zatim pomiješati ¼ žličice gela i ½ žličicu bademovog ulja. Za pomoć pri nanošenju možete koristiti i pamučni štapić.
3. Ulje s vitaminom E
Vitamin E pomaže učinkovitijem vlaženju nosne sluznice. Ujedno je riječ o tvari s izraženim protuupalnim djelovanjem, koja spada u jake antioksidanse. Ulje s dodatkom vitamina E stoga može biti odlična pomoć kod problema sa suhom sluznicom, ali ublažiti simptome uzrokovane alergijskim rinitisom, poznatijim kao peludna groznica.
4. Ulje pšeničnih klica
Ulje pšeničnih klica smatra se jednim od najboljih izvora vitamina E, odnosno uljem koje sadrži najveću količinu spomenutog vitamina među svim uljima. Umjesto posebnog ulja s dodatkom vitamina E, za vlaženje suhe nosne sluznice možete koristiti i ulje pšeničnih klica. Sigurno ćete vrlo brzo primijetiti poboljšanje.

5. Na pari
Umjesto izravnog vlaženja nosne sluznice, možete se odlučiti i za neizravno vlaženje uz pomoć pare. Na raspolaganju su vam različite metode - od inhalacija nad kipućom vodom do toplih tuševa i kupki. Para omogućuje vrlo brzo vlaženje nosne sluznice i olakšava disanje.
6. Niža temperatura + ovlaživač zraka
Jako intenzivno zagrijavanje prostora nije dobro ni za okoliš ni za novčanik. Također je štetan za vašu kožu i nosnu sluznicu. Ako se često borite sa suhom sluznicom svakako je preporuka da pokušate smanjiti temperaturu u svom domu barem za stupanj-dva. Pritom ima smisla koristiti i ovlaživače zraka.
7. Sauna
Poznato je da sauna potiče prokrvljenost i učinkovitiju detoksikaciju organizma te jača imunološki sustav. Između ostalog, metoda je korisna i za ublažavanje problema s vrlo suhom, nadraženom sluznicom nosa, ali samo ako odaberete vrstu saune u kojoj zrak nije pretjerano suh. Najbolji izbor je "turska sauna", poznata i kao parna sauna.
