Mnogi, nakon što su preboljeli COVID-19, mjesecima osjećaju posljedice bolesti. O postcovid sindromu još se ne zna dovoljno, a stručnjaci su razmijenili svoja iskustva na prvom simpoziju u Zagrebu.

Velik je pritisak na postkovid ambulante diljem zemlje. Čak 40 posto pacijenata koji su preboljeli covid 19 imaju neki od znakova postcovid sindroma. Tegobe znaju trajati i dulje od 6 mjeseci. Česti su neurološki problemi - donosi HRT. 

- Zaostane glavobolja, vrtoglavice, kronični umor, to su pacijenti koji imaju različite utrnulosti u rukama i nogama, to su pacijenti koji imaju različite probleme pamćenja, kognicije, govori Vanja Bašić Kes, pročelnica Zavoda za neuroimunologiju KBC Sestre milosrdnice.

Postcovid sindrom nema pravila - bolest na svakoga utječe drukčije. Može se dogoditi da netko s blagim simptomima koronavirusa ima teže komplikacije od onih koji su imali teži oblik bolesti.

- Trebamo vidjeti zašto umor? Taj umor može biti posljedica mikroembolija koje uzrokuju zaduhu, može biti promjena u krvnoj slici, na krvnim žilama. Nije samo umor, to može biti uzrok ozbiljne bolesti, govori prof.dr.sc. Nikolina Bašić Jukić, voditeljica odjela za transplantaciju bubrega KBC Zagreb.

Iako je COVID-19 sistemska bolest koja može zahvatiti svaki organ, ona je primarno respiratorna bolest.

- Dosta je veliki broj ljudi za očekivati da će imati dugotrajne posljedice, da ni nakon 6 mjeseci neće doći do smanjivanja simptoma, već će imati trajne posljedice. Što se pluća tiče, to su najčešće plućna fibroza i tromboembolijske bolesti, važno je na vrijeme prepoznati takve pacijente, govori dr. sc. Mateja Janković Makek iz Klinike za plućne bolesti Jordanovac.

A vrijeme je važno i za srčane bolesnike. Stoga ne treba odgađati odlazak liječniku.

- Cijeli kardiovaskularni sustav akutno pati zbog infekcije COVID-om, kasnije neki pacijenti imaju trajne ili privremene posljedice tako da već sad osjećamo navalu bolesnika koji se žale na tegobe koje nisu imali ranije, naglašava akademik Davor Miličić, predstojnik Klinike za bolesti srca i krvnih žila KBC Zagreb.

Postupak je jednostavan - kada se pojavi problem, nakon pregleda kod liječnika obiteljske medicine pacijenti se upućuju u postkovid ambulante koje će, sudeći po trenutačnoj situaciji u zemlji, još dugo imati mnogo posla.

Mnogi, nakon što su preboljeli COVID-19, mjesecima osjećaju posljedice bolesti. O postcovid sindromu još se ne zna dovoljno, a stručnjaci su razmijenili svoja iskustva na prvom simpoziju u Zagrebu.

Velik je pritisak na postkovid ambulante diljem zemlje. Čak 40 posto pacijenata koji su preboljeli covid 19 imaju neki od znakova postcovid sindroma. Tegobe znaju trajati i dulje od 6 mjeseci. Česti su neurološki problemi - donosi HRT. 

- Zaostane glavobolja, vrtoglavice, kronični umor, to su pacijenti koji imaju različite utrnulosti u rukama i nogama, to su pacijenti koji imaju različite probleme pamćenja, kognicije, govori Vanja Bašić Kes, pročelnica Zavoda za neuroimunologiju KBC Sestre milosrdnice.

Postcovid sindrom nema pravila - bolest na svakoga utječe drukčije. Može se dogoditi da netko s blagim simptomima koronavirusa ima teže komplikacije od onih koji su imali teži oblik bolesti.

- Trebamo vidjeti zašto umor? Taj umor može biti posljedica mikroembolija koje uzrokuju zaduhu, može biti promjena u krvnoj slici, na krvnim žilama. Nije samo umor, to može biti uzrok ozbiljne bolesti, govori prof.dr.sc. Nikolina Bašić Jukić, voditeljica odjela za transplantaciju bubrega KBC Zagreb.

Iako je COVID-19 sistemska bolest koja može zahvatiti svaki organ, ona je primarno respiratorna bolest.

- Dosta je veliki broj ljudi za očekivati da će imati dugotrajne posljedice, da ni nakon 6 mjeseci neće doći do smanjivanja simptoma, već će imati trajne posljedice. Što se pluća tiče, to su najčešće plućna fibroza i tromboembolijske bolesti, važno je na vrijeme prepoznati takve pacijente, govori dr. sc. Mateja Janković Makek iz Klinike za plućne bolesti Jordanovac.

A vrijeme je važno i za srčane bolesnike. Stoga ne treba odgađati odlazak liječniku.

- Cijeli kardiovaskularni sustav akutno pati zbog infekcije COVID-om, kasnije neki pacijenti imaju trajne ili privremene posljedice tako da već sad osjećamo navalu bolesnika koji se žale na tegobe koje nisu imali ranije, naglašava akademik Davor Miličić, predstojnik Klinike za bolesti srca i krvnih žila KBC Zagreb.

Postupak je jednostavan - kada se pojavi problem, nakon pregleda kod liječnika obiteljske medicine pacijenti se upućuju u postkovid ambulante koje će, sudeći po trenutačnoj situaciji u zemlji, još dugo imati mnogo posla.
