Kvalitetan san presudan je za naše cjelokupno zdravlje. Nažalost, oko 30 posto ljudi pati od nesanice ili nekih drugih kroničnih poremećaja spavanja - po noći se stalno bude, kratko spavaju ili imaju lak san koji im ne dozvoljava da se do kraja odmore.

Biljni čajevi popularni su odabir kada dođe vrijeme za opuštanje i spavanje, posebno onima koji imaju problema sa snom. Koriste se stoljećima diljem svijeta i u svim kulturama kao prirodni lijekovi za insomniju i slične teškoće. Suvremena istraživanja također podupiru takvu sposobnost biljnih čajeva međutim nemaju baš sve biljke za koje to mislimo isti efekt. Zato su stručnjaci za Healthline napravili analizu dosadašnjih istraživanja i izdvojili one čajeve koji će nam uistinu pomoći.

1. Korijen valerijane

Valerijana je biljka koja se stoljećima koristi za liječenje problema poput nesanice, nervoze i glavobolje. Najpoznatija je po tome što je korištena u Engleskoj tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata za ublažavanje stresa i tjeskobe izazvane zračnim napadima. Korijen Valerijane djeluje tako da uzrokuje pospanost povećavanjem razine neurotransmitera zvanog GABA. Manje studije provedene na ljudima sugeriraju da može poboljšati ukupnu kvalitetu spavanja skraćujući vrijeme potrebno da se zaspe i smanjujući broj buđenja tijekom noći.

2. Matičnjak

Matičnjak pripada obitelji metvice i može ga se naći u cijelom svijetu. Iako se često prodaje u obliku ekstrakta za upotrebu u aromaterapiji, lišće matičnjaka također se suši kako bi se napravio čaj. Ova aromatična biljka s mirisom citrusa koristi se za smanjenje stresa i poboljšanje sna još od srednjeg vijeka, a djeluje slično kao valerijana povaćevajući razinu GABA neurotrensmitera.

3. Pasiflora

Čaj od pasiflore izrađuje se od suhog lišća, cvijeća i stabljike biljke passiflore. Tradicionalno se koristi za ublažavanje osjećaja tjeskobe i poboljšanje sna. U novije vrijeme napravljene su studije koje su ispitivale njegovu sposobnost da poboljša nesanicu i kvalitetu sna. Pokazalo se da najbolje djeluje kada je se kombinira s korijenom valerijane i hmeljem.

4. Kora magnolije

Magnolija postoji više od 100 milijuna godina stoga ne čudi što su ljudi uspjeli otrkiti sve njene blagodati. Čaj od magnolije sprema se večinski od kore biljke, ali se također sastoji od manjeg broja osušenih pupova i stabljika. Tradicionalno se koristila u kineskoj medicini za ublažavanje različitih simptoma, uključujući nelagodu u trbuhu, začepljenje nosa i stres. Sada je se u svijetu sve više hvali zbog sedativnih učinaka i pomoći kod anksioznosti. Nekolicina dosadašnjih istraživanja pokazala je da magnolija pomaže da zaspu miševima, a prvi rezultati testiranja na ljudima pokazuju isto.

5. Kamilica

Godinama se čaj od kamilice koristi kao prirodni lijek za smanjenje upala i anksioznosti te liječenje nesanice. Zapravo, kamilica se obično smatra blagim sredstvom za smirenje i pomagačicom za bolji san. Istraženo je da to postiže jer sadrži antioksidans zvan apigenin koji može pomoći inicirati san. Međutim, dokazi koji podupiru blagodati kamilice nisu posve dosljedni pa se čekaju nova istraživanja.

Kvalitetan san presudan je za naše cjelokupno zdravlje. Nažalost, oko 30 posto ljudi pati od nesanice ili nekih drugih kroničnih poremećaja spavanja - po noći se stalno bude, kratko spavaju ili imaju lak san koji im ne dozvoljava da se do kraja odmore.

Biljni čajevi popularni su odabir kada dođe vrijeme za opuštanje i spavanje, posebno onima koji imaju problema sa snom. Koriste se stoljećima diljem svijeta i u svim kulturama kao prirodni lijekovi za insomniju i slične teškoće. Suvremena istraživanja također podupiru takvu sposobnost biljnih čajeva međutim nemaju baš sve biljke za koje to mislimo isti efekt. Zato su stručnjaci za Healthline napravili analizu dosadašnjih istraživanja i izdvojili one čajeve koji će nam uistinu pomoći.

1. Korijen valerijane

Valerijana je biljka koja se stoljećima koristi za liječenje problema poput nesanice, nervoze i glavobolje. Najpoznatija je po tome što je korištena u Engleskoj tijekom Drugog svjetskog rata za ublažavanje stresa i tjeskobe izazvane zračnim napadima. Korijen Valerijane djeluje tako da uzrokuje pospanost povećavanjem razine neurotransmitera zvanog GABA. Manje studije provedene na ljudima sugeriraju da može poboljšati ukupnu kvalitetu spavanja skraćujući vrijeme potrebno da se zaspe i smanjujući broj buđenja tijekom noći.

2. Matičnjak

Matičnjak pripada obitelji metvice i može ga se naći u cijelom svijetu. Iako se često prodaje u obliku ekstrakta za upotrebu u aromaterapiji, lišće matičnjaka također se suši kako bi se napravio čaj. Ova aromatična biljka s mirisom citrusa koristi se za smanjenje stresa i poboljšanje sna još od srednjeg vijeka, a djeluje slično kao valerijana povaćevajući razinu GABA neurotrensmitera.

3. Pasiflora

Čaj od pasiflore izrađuje se od suhog lišća, cvijeća i stabljike biljke passiflore. Tradicionalno se koristi za ublažavanje osjećaja tjeskobe i poboljšanje sna. U novije vrijeme napravljene su studije koje su ispitivale njegovu sposobnost da poboljša nesanicu i kvalitetu sna. Pokazalo se da najbolje djeluje kada je se kombinira s korijenom valerijane i hmeljem.

4. Kora magnolije

Magnolija postoji više od 100 milijuna godina stoga ne čudi što su ljudi uspjeli otrkiti sve njene blagodati. Čaj od magnolije sprema se večinski od kore biljke, ali se također sastoji od manjeg broja osušenih pupova i stabljika. Tradicionalno se koristila u kineskoj medicini za ublažavanje različitih simptoma, uključujući nelagodu u trbuhu, začepljenje nosa i stres. Sada je se u svijetu sve više hvali zbog sedativnih učinaka i pomoći kod anksioznosti. Nekolicina dosadašnjih istraživanja pokazala je da magnolija pomaže da zaspu miševima, a prvi rezultati testiranja na ljudima pokazuju isto.

5. Kamilica

Godinama se čaj od kamilice koristi kao prirodni lijek za smanjenje upala i anksioznosti te liječenje nesanice. Zapravo, kamilica se obično smatra blagim sredstvom za smirenje i pomagačicom za bolji san. Istraženo je da to postiže jer sadrži antioksidans zvan apigenin koji može pomoći inicirati san. Međutim, dokazi koji podupiru blagodati kamilice nisu posve dosljedni pa se čekaju nova istraživanja.

Kvalitetan san presudan je za naše cjelokupno zdravlje. Nažalost, oko 30 posto ljudi pati od nesanice ili nekih drugih kroničnih poremećaja spavanja - po noći se stalno bude, kratko spavaju ili imaju lak san koji im ne dozvoljava da se do kraja odmore.

Biljni čajevi popularni su odabir kada dođe vrijeme za opuštanje i spavanje, posebno onima koji imaju problema sa snom. Koriste se stoljećima diljem svijeta i u svim kulturama kao prirodni lijekovi za insomniju i slične teškoće. Suvremena istraživanja također podupiru takvu sposobnost biljnih čajeva međutim nemaju baš sve biljke za koje to mislimo isti efekt.
