Trkaća Lancia 037 bijele boje s plavim i crvenim šarama bila je potpisniku ovih redaka jedna od najdražih igračaka iz djetinjstva i svakako jedna od najljepših uspomena. Dobivena je kao poklon od ujaka netom nakon što je on osvojio tombolu. Uzbuđenje prilikom odlaska po "Buragov" autić na zadnji kat "Koteksa" nešto je što se pamti cijeli život.

Upravo zato, "Utrka za slavu: Audi protiv Lancije" ("Race For Glory: Audi vs. Lancia") izazvao je posebnu pažnju kao sportski film u kojem se pojavljuje ponajdraži trkaći automobil iz djetinstva. Šteta što je "Utrka za slavu" ispala osrednji "sports movie", ali svejedno bilo je lijepo vidjeti Lanciju u akciji i vratiti se natrag u osamdesete, točnije 1983. godinu.

Bila je to godina dragih filmskih uspomena iz djetinjstva poput "Povratka jedija", "Octopussy", "Plavog groma", "Supermana III", "Kola sreće" ili "Flashdancea", ali i rivalstva Audija Quattra i Lancije 037 na reliju. Snimljen u talijansko-britansko-irskoj koprodukciji, "Race For Glory" se otvara slijedećim natpisom...

"Između 1970. i 1987. proizvođači automobila uložili su milijune dolara u reli praveći prototipove koji su se zatim mogli pretvoriti u aute za masovno tržište. Pobjeda u reliju značila je prodaju tisuća automobila fanovima. Dvoboj Lancije i Audija zaokupio je maštu milijuna gledatelja. U svijetu relija 1983. godina često se naziva prvenstvom kojim se stvarala povijest..."

Nakon postavljanja konteksta, upoznajemo Cesarea Fioria (talijanska glumačka zvijezda Riccardo Scamarcio), menadžera tima Lancia. Tijekom intervjua s novinarkom (uvijek rado viđena Haley Bennett) Cesare otkriva da ga svijetu relija privlači to što voli brzinu i rizik, pa i zato jer je posrijedi "demokratski sport" i "pripada svima".

Tim Lancije nalazi se pod pritiskom da osvoji utrku protiv konkurentskog Audija kojeg vodi Roland Gumpert (Daniel Brühl). To je bitka "Davida protiv Golijata" s obzirom da Audi ima veći budžet, bolju tehnologiju, više ljudi. "Ovi Nijemci su dobri", čujemo. Scaramarcio je uživljen i trudi se stvoriti trodimenzionalni lik, za razliku od Brühla koji glumi na autopilotu, manje strastveno nego što je utjelovio Nikija Laudu u "Utrci života", znanoj i po izvornom naslovu "Rush".

Zahvaljujući Scarmarciju, "Audi protiv Lancije" je, primjerice, uspjeliji od filma "Lamborghini: Čovjek koji je stvorio legendu" s Frankom Grillom u glavnoj ulozi, ali zaostaje nekoliko krugova za "Utrkom života" i superiornijim ostvarenjima kao što su "Izazivač: Le Mans ‘66." ili "Ferrari".

Možda bi to manje upadalo u oko da je "Race For Glory" dojurio u kina barem prije "Ferrarija", ako ne i filma "Ford vs. Ferrari" čija talijanska inačica želi i biti. Talijanski redatelj Stefano Mordini nije kalibar Rona Howarda ("Rush"), Michaela Manna ("Ferrari") i Jamesa Mangolda ("Izazivač") da bi scene utrka dosegle punu brzinu i istinski podizale puls, koliko god bile razmjerno kompetentno režirane.

Prvog adrenalina nedostaje u filmu, tj. većeg broja okretaja njegova motora, kao i bolje profiliranih likova, makar Volker Bruch povremeno umije načiniti ekscentričnog umirovljenog vozača Waltera Röhrla interesantnim i karizmatičnim trkaćim spojem Roberta Redforda i Chucka Norrisa, može i Jasona Stathama ("Pčelar") s obzirom da se posvetio pčelarstvu. Cesare možda "ne vjeruje u klišeje", ali u njih vjeruje Mordini. Puno je toga konvencionalno u filmu i "Utrka za slavu" rijetko vozi iznad prosjeka.

Trkaća Lancia 037 bijele boje s plavim i crvenim šarama bila je potpisniku ovih redaka jedna od najdražih igračaka iz djetinjstva i svakako jedna od najljepših uspomena. Dobivena je kao poklon od ujaka netom nakon što je on osvojio tombolu. Uzbuđenje prilikom odlaska po "Buragov" autić na zadnji kat "Koteksa" nešto je što se pamti cijeli život.

Upravo zato, "Utrka za slavu: Audi protiv Lancije" ("Race For Glory: Audi vs. Lancia") izazvao je posebnu pažnju kao sportski film u kojem se pojavljuje ponajdraži trkaći automobil iz djetinstva. Šteta što je "Utrka za slavu" ispala osrednji "sports movie", ali svejedno bilo je lijepo vidjeti Lanciju u akciji i vratiti se natrag u osamdesete, točnije 1983. godinu.

Bila je to godina dragih filmskih uspomena iz djetinjstva poput "Povratka jedija", "Octopussy", "Plavog groma", "Supermana III", "Kola sreće" ili "Flashdancea", ali i rivalstva Audija Quattra i Lancije 037 na reliju. Snimljen u talijansko-britansko-irskoj koprodukciji, "Race For Glory" se otvara slijedećim natpisom...

"Između 1970. i 1987. proizvođači automobila uložili su milijune dolara u reli praveći prototipove koji su se zatim mogli pretvoriti u aute za masovno tržište. Pobjeda u reliju značila je prodaju tisuća automobila fanovima. Dvoboj Lancije i Audija zaokupio je maštu milijuna gledatelja. U svijetu relija 1983. godina često se naziva prvenstvom kojim se stvarala povijest..."

Nakon postavljanja konteksta, upoznajemo Cesarea Fioria (talijanska glumačka zvijezda Riccardo Scamarcio), menadžera tima Lancia. Tijekom intervjua s novinarkom (uvijek rado viđena Haley Bennett) Cesare otkriva da ga svijetu relija privlači to što voli brzinu i rizik, pa i zato jer je posrijedi "demokratski sport" i "pripada svima".

Tim Lancije nalazi se pod pritiskom da osvoji utrku protiv konkurentskog Audija kojeg vodi Roland Gumpert (Daniel Brühl). To je bitka "Davida protiv Golijata" s obzirom da Audi ima veći budžet, bolju tehnologiju, više ljudi. "Ovi Nijemci su dobri", čujemo. Scaramarcio je uživljen i trudi se stvoriti trodimenzionalni lik, za razliku od Brühla koji glumi na autopilotu, manje strastveno nego što je utjelovio Nikija Laudu u "Utrci života", znanoj i po izvornom naslovu "Rush".

Zahvaljujući Scarmarciju, "Audi protiv Lancije" je, primjerice, uspjeliji od filma "Lamborghini: Čovjek koji je stvorio legendu" s Frankom Grillom u glavnoj ulozi, ali zaostaje nekoliko krugova za "Utrkom života" i superiornijim ostvarenjima kao što su "Izazivač: Le Mans ‘66." ili "Ferrari".

Možda bi to manje upadalo u oko da je "Race For Glory" dojurio u kina barem prije "Ferrarija", ako ne i filma "Ford vs. Ferrari" čija talijanska inačica želi i biti. Talijanski redatelj Stefano Mordini nije kalibar Rona Howarda ("Rush"), Michaela Manna ("Ferrari") i Jamesa Mangolda ("Izazivač") da bi scene utrka dosegle punu brzinu i istinski podizale puls, koliko god bile razmjerno kompetentno režirane.

Prvog adrenalina nedostaje u filmu, tj. većeg broja okretaja njegova motora, kao i bolje profiliranih likova, makar Volker Bruch povremeno umije načiniti ekscentričnog umirovljenog vozača Waltera Röhrla interesantnim i karizmatičnim trkaćim spojem Roberta Redforda i Chucka Norrisa, može i Jasona Stathama ("Pčelar") s obzirom da se posvetio pčelarstvu. Cesare možda "ne vjeruje u klišeje", ali u njih vjeruje Mordini. Puno je toga konvencionalno u filmu i "Utrka za slavu" rijetko vozi iznad prosjeka.
