"Opa, mama je stvarno dobra." – "Sve u isto vrijeme" (2022.)

Multisvemir je potentan koncept koji Marvel naveliko istražuje u svojim filmovima, od animiranog do igranog "Spider-Mana" i nadolazećeg "Doktora Strangea 2". No, koncept ne mora biti samo primat Marvela, i to potvrđuje fantazija "Sve u isto vrijeme" ("Everything Everywhere All At Once").

Jedno od ugodnijih iznenađenja od početka godine u kinima pristupa multiuniverzumu na prilično originalan način. Redateljski i scenaristički dvojac Dan Kwan-Daniel Scheinert, poznat kao The Daniels ("Swiss Army Man"), režira i piše kao da je u njih ušao duh Charlieja Kaufmana ("Biti John Malkovich", "Adaptacija", "Vječni sjaj nepobjedivog uma", "Sinegdoha, New York", "Vrijeme je da okončam ovo").

I to Kaufman nakon što je maratonski pogledao Marvelove multisvemirske blockbustere, "Matrix", "Divan život", "Beskrajni dan", "Volim-ne volim", "Odiseju u svemiru", "Raspoložene za ljubav", "Igrač broj 1", "Juhu-hu", "Veliku gužvu u Kineskoj četvrti", "Kill Bill" i sve akcijske filmove azijske zvijezde Michelle Yeoh, počevši od "Tigra i zmaja" preko "Sutra nikad ne umire" do "Shang Chija".

Puno je to filmova i puno žanrova, od fantazije i akcije, do SF-a i komedije, ali "Sve u isto vrijeme" nekim čudom multižanrovski funkcionira više nego dobro unatoč ponekim bizarnostima i istovremeno uspijeva biti "kaufmanovski" egzistencijalan i "marvelovski" zabavan.

Tko je spreman ući u kino otvorenog uma, mogao bi doživjeti posebno iskustvo s filmom u kojem kineska imigrantica i vlasnica praonice Evelyn Wang (Yeoh) biva uvučena u multiuniverzumske zavrzlame za spas svijeta kad joj suprug Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) jednog dana kaže "Ja nisam tvoj muž, ja sam druga verzija njega iz drugog svemira" i otkrije da je u multisvemiru vidio tisuće njezinih verzija i da ona može pristupiti svim njihovim sjećanjima, osjećajima, čak i vještinama.

"Everything Everywhere All At Once" pršti kreativnom energijom i drukčiji je od svega što smo vidjeli 2022., pa i malo šire, a svaka njegova multiuniverzumska čudnost (prsti nalik hrenovkama, sviranje klavira stopalima, pecivo kao crna rupa...) isprepleće se s multisvemirskom čudesnosti (Evelyn se prisjeća borilačkih pokreta, živi život filmske zvijezde kao iz filma Wong Kar Waija...).

Na momente "Sve u isto vrijeme" izgleda da je prepametan za svoje dobro i graniči s kreativnim neredom (Evelyn i njezina kćerka su kamenja u jednoj verziji multisvemira), no jedinstvenost filma je zarazna i dobrodošlo nepredvidljiva, stoga gledatelj prihvaća avanturistički "trip" kroz razne verzije multiuniverzuma ne znajući kamo će ga priča odvesti.

Da nam je netko rekao da Jamie Lee Curtis, protagonistica "Noći vještica", može na trenutke postati negativka iz horora u kakvima je glumila, ne bismo mu vjerovali, ali "Everything Everywhere All At Once" nas nagoni da mu povjerujemo kad se njezina zaposlenica porezne uprave povampiri.

Porezna zgrada je, zanimljivo, poprište većeg dijela priče i upravo tu se Evelyn bori sa zaštitarima i kime sve ne, čime redatelji potenciraju egzistencijalizam utjelovljen u uzrečici "ništa na svijetu nije sigurno osim smrti i poreza". A kaotičnost i hiperaktivnost multisvemira reflektira kaotičnost i hiperaktivnost modernog svijeta u kojem se sve odigrava u isto vrijeme.

U tom svijetu čovjek, poput Evelyn, istodobno utjelovljuje nekoliko verzija sebe, pronalazeći vremena za posao, obitelj..., pa i razmišljanje o propuštenim prilikama i životima koje je mogao živjeti u nekom drugom paralelnom svemiru, "jednom od tko zna koliko".

Sve to (naše druge verzije, drugi životi, more drugih mogućnosti) čini suštinu filma koji nastoji zadržati filozofsku misao i ne izgubiti je u nizu borilačkih akcijskih scena, kao ni nerijetko dirljive emocije. Opet, borilački akcijski prizori su metafizički i metafilmski u kontekstu multisvemirske Yeoh.

"Sve u isto vrijeme" prolazi kroz sve faze glumičine (akcijske) karijere, od Hong Konga do Hollywooda, a najviše se zadržava u njezinom beskrajnom "martial arts/kung fu" svemiru. Film ispisuje ljubavno pismo glumici do multisvemira i natrag.

Ke Huy Quan je bivša dječja zvijezda "Indiane Jonesa II" i "Gooniesa", a u filmu se pojavljuje i James Hong (Evelynin otac) kao poveznica s "Big Trouble In Little China".

"Opa, mama je stvarno dobra." – "Sve u isto vrijeme" (2022.)

Multisvemir je potentan koncept koji Marvel naveliko istražuje u svojim filmovima, od animiranog do igranog "Spider-Mana" i nadolazećeg "Doktora Strangea 2". No, koncept ne mora biti samo primat Marvela, i to potvrđuje fantazija "Sve u isto vrijeme" ("Everything Everywhere All At Once").

Jedno od ugodnijih iznenađenja od početka godine u kinima pristupa multiuniverzumu na prilično originalan način. Redateljski i scenaristički dvojac Dan Kwan-Daniel Scheinert, poznat kao The Daniels ("Swiss Army Man"), režira i piše kao da je u njih ušao duh Charlieja Kaufmana ("Biti John Malkovich", "Adaptacija", "Vječni sjaj nepobjedivog uma", "Sinegdoha, New York", "Vrijeme je da okončam ovo").

I to Kaufman nakon što je maratonski pogledao Marvelove multisvemirske blockbustere, "Matrix", "Divan život", "Beskrajni dan", "Volim-ne volim", "Odiseju u svemiru", "Raspoložene za ljubav", "Igrač broj 1", "Juhu-hu", "Veliku gužvu u Kineskoj četvrti", "Kill Bill" i sve akcijske filmove azijske zvijezde Michelle Yeoh, počevši od "Tigra i zmaja" preko "Sutra nikad ne umire" do "Shang Chija".

Puno je to filmova i puno žanrova, od fantazije i akcije, do SF-a i komedije, ali "Sve u isto vrijeme" nekim čudom multižanrovski funkcionira više nego dobro unatoč ponekim bizarnostima i istovremeno uspijeva biti "kaufmanovski" egzistencijalan i "marvelovski" zabavan.

Tko je spreman ući u kino otvorenog uma, mogao bi doživjeti posebno iskustvo s filmom u kojem kineska imigrantica i vlasnica praonice Evelyn Wang (Yeoh) biva uvučena u multiuniverzumske zavrzlame za spas svijeta kad joj suprug Waymond (Ke Huy Quan) jednog dana kaže "Ja nisam tvoj muž, ja sam druga verzija njega iz drugog svemira" i otkrije da je u multisvemiru vidio tisuće njezinih verzija i da ona može pristupiti svim njihovim sjećanjima, osjećajima, čak i vještinama.

"Everything Everywhere All At Once" pršti kreativnom energijom i drukčiji je od svega što smo vidjeli 2022., pa i malo šire, a svaka njegova multiuniverzumska čudnost (prsti nalik hrenovkama, sviranje klavira stopalima, pecivo kao crna rupa...) isprepleće se s multisvemirskom čudesnosti (Evelyn se prisjeća borilačkih pokreta, živi život filmske zvijezde kao iz filma Wong Kar Waija...).

Na momente "Sve u isto vrijeme" izgleda da je prepametan za svoje dobro i graniči s kreativnim neredom (Evelyn i njezina kćerka su kamenja u jednoj verziji multisvemira), no jedinstvenost filma je zarazna i dobrodošlo nepredvidljiva, stoga gledatelj prihvaća avanturistički "trip" kroz razne verzije multiuniverzuma ne znajući kamo će ga priča odvesti.

Da nam je netko rekao da Jamie Lee Curtis, protagonistica "Noći vještica", može na trenutke postati negativka iz horora u kakvima je glumila, ne bismo mu vjerovali, ali "Everything Everywhere All At Once" nas nagoni da mu povjerujemo kad se njezina zaposlenica porezne uprave povampiri.

Porezna zgrada je, zanimljivo, poprište većeg dijela priče i upravo tu se Evelyn bori sa zaštitarima i kime sve ne, čime redatelji potenciraju egzistencijalizam utjelovljen u uzrečici "ništa na svijetu nije sigurno osim smrti i poreza". A kaotičnost i hiperaktivnost multisvemira reflektira kaotičnost i hiperaktivnost modernog svijeta u kojem se sve odigrava u isto vrijeme.

U tom svijetu čovjek, poput Evelyn, istodobno utjelovljuje nekoliko verzija sebe, pronalazeći vremena za posao, obitelj..., pa i razmišljanje o propuštenim prilikama i životima koje je mogao živjeti u nekom drugom paralelnom svemiru, "jednom od tko zna koliko".

Sve to (naše druge verzije, drugi životi, more drugih mogućnosti) čini suštinu filma koji nastoji zadržati filozofsku misao i ne izgubiti je u nizu borilačkih akcijskih scena, kao ni nerijetko dirljive emocije. Opet, borilački akcijski prizori su metafizički i metafilmski u kontekstu multisvemirske Yeoh.

"Sve u isto vrijeme" prolazi kroz sve faze glumičine (akcijske) karijere, od Hong Konga do Hollywooda, a najviše se zadržava u njezinom beskrajnom "martial arts/kung fu" svemiru. Film ispisuje ljubavno pismo glumici do multisvemira i natrag.

Ke Huy Quan je bivša dječja zvijezda "Indiane Jonesa II" i "Gooniesa", a u filmu se pojavljuje i James Hong (Evelynin otac) kao poveznica s "Big Trouble In Little China".
