Svojedobno je “Ljubavnik lady Chatterley” engleskog spisatelja Davida Herberta Lawrencea bio jedan od najskandaloznijih romana i uopće književnih djela, objavljen krajem dvadesetih godina prošlog stoljeća u Firenci i Francuskoj.

”Lady Chatterley’s Lover” je postao zloglasan zbog neprimjerena vokabulara i opisa nesputane erotike, zbog čega je sve do 1960. čekao na objavu u autorovoj matičnoj Velikoj Britaniji. Lawrence je neuvijeno oslikavao zabranjenu aferu udane žene iz visokog društva i njezina sluge, prepunu eksplicitna seksa.

Ona, barunica Constance Chatterley, supruga paraliziranog i impotentnog veterana Prvog svjetskog rata, romantično se i seksualno zbližila s lugarom Oliverom Mellorsom.

Nakon što je erotika ušla i u svijet filma, roman je ekraniziran više puta, uključujući vjerojatno najpoznatiju (“soft porn”) verziju s početka osamdesetih u kojoj je lady Chatterley utjelovila Sylvia Kristel, slavna Emmanuelle.

Najnovija verzija “Ljubavnik lady Chatterley”, iz pera scenarista Davida Mageeja (“Pijev život”), premijerno je puštena na Netflixu nešto manje od punih 100 godina od izvorne objave romana i, vjerovali ili ne, ponegdje izaziva kontroverze seksualne prirode gotovo kao roman, vjerojatno zato što su seks i golotinja posljednjih godina marginalizirani na velikim i malim ekranima, osobito u “mainstream” ostvarenjima.

Aktualni “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” ne skanjiva se izravnijih prikaza seksa i “full frontal” prizora razgolićenih glumaca Emme Corrin (mlada princeza Diana u “Kruni 4”) i Jacka O’Connella (“Nesalomljivi”, “Lavovska borba”). Međutim, scene nisu tu da ciljano izazivaju kontroverze, već da zorno prikažu seksualnu intimu dvoje ljudi. Kao takve, scene su prilično senzualne, iskrene i prirodne, krajnje intimne u orgazmičkoj erotičnosti.

”Ljubavnik lady Chatterley” je za redateljicu Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre (odlični “Mustang”) ponajprije ljubavna priča, stoga ona pristupa seksu kao činu vođenja ljubavi, a ne izazivanju jeftinih “soft porn” senzacija. Usporedite samo scene iz ovog iznadprosječnog filma s mahom generičkim scenama “Pedeset nijansi sive” i “Bridgertona”, kamoli “365 dana”.

Razlika je drastična. Povrh toga, likove ovog filma uspijevamo upoznati i osjetiti njihovu privlačnost i privrženost. Nakon što se njezin suprug Clifford Chatterley (Matthew Duckett) vrati iz rata paraliziran od struka nadolje, Constance ga nastavlja voljeti, ali se sve više osjeća nesretnom i neispunjenom.

Kad on poželi nasljednika, predloži supruzi da nađe ljubavnika, striktno zbog impregnacije, nipošto strasti i zadovoljstva. No, požuda i ljubav se ne mogu kontrolirati kad je Constance i Oliver počnu konzumirati, iako znaju da ne bi smjeli. Ako se afera otkrije, posljedice mogu biti strašne, što potencira tenziju filma. Za likove marimo i stalo nam je da ostanu zajedno.

Redateljica dopušta da njihova veza prodiše dok hvata male i velike trenutke pupanja strasti i povezanosti, potencirajući emocije nadahnutom sinergijom fotografije i glazbe, tj isprepletanjem bijele puti ljubavnika i zelenila oko njih. Pristup je taktilan i poetski u povezivanju tijela i uma ljubavnika. Netflix je dobio dosad najbolju kostimiranu romansu, bolju od “Bridgertona” i “Uvjeravanja”.

Joely od ljubavnice do njegovateljice

U ulozi Cliffordove njegovateljice, medicinske sestre mrs. Bolton, nastupa Joely Richardson koja je, zanimljivo, glumila Constance u mini-serijskoj ekranizaciji iz 1993. godine, a Sean Bean je igrao Olivera.

Svojedobno je “Ljubavnik lady Chatterley” engleskog spisatelja Davida Herberta Lawrencea bio jedan od najskandaloznijih romana i uopće književnih djela, objavljen krajem dvadesetih godina prošlog stoljeća u Firenci i Francuskoj.

”Lady Chatterley’s Lover” je postao zloglasan zbog neprimjerena vokabulara i opisa nesputane erotike, zbog čega je sve do 1960. čekao na objavu u autorovoj matičnoj Velikoj Britaniji. Lawrence je neuvijeno oslikavao zabranjenu aferu udane žene iz visokog društva i njezina sluge, prepunu eksplicitna seksa.

Ona, barunica Constance Chatterley, supruga paraliziranog i impotentnog veterana Prvog svjetskog rata, romantično se i seksualno zbližila s lugarom Oliverom Mellorsom.

Nakon što je erotika ušla i u svijet filma, roman je ekraniziran više puta, uključujući vjerojatno najpoznatiju (“soft porn”) verziju s početka osamdesetih u kojoj je lady Chatterley utjelovila Sylvia Kristel, slavna Emmanuelle.

Najnovija verzija “Ljubavnik lady Chatterley”, iz pera scenarista Davida Mageeja (“Pijev život”), premijerno je puštena na Netflixu nešto manje od punih 100 godina od izvorne objave romana i, vjerovali ili ne, ponegdje izaziva kontroverze seksualne prirode gotovo kao roman, vjerojatno zato što su seks i golotinja posljednjih godina marginalizirani na velikim i malim ekranima, osobito u “mainstream” ostvarenjima.

Aktualni “Lady Chatterley’s Lover” ne skanjiva se izravnijih prikaza seksa i “full frontal” prizora razgolićenih glumaca Emme Corrin (mlada princeza Diana u “Kruni 4”) i Jacka O’Connella (“Nesalomljivi”, “Lavovska borba”). Međutim, scene nisu tu da ciljano izazivaju kontroverze, već da zorno prikažu seksualnu intimu dvoje ljudi. Kao takve, scene su prilično senzualne, iskrene i prirodne, krajnje intimne u orgazmičkoj erotičnosti.

”Ljubavnik lady Chatterley” je za redateljicu Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre (odlični “Mustang”) ponajprije ljubavna priča, stoga ona pristupa seksu kao činu vođenja ljubavi, a ne izazivanju jeftinih “soft porn” senzacija. Usporedite samo scene iz ovog iznadprosječnog filma s mahom generičkim scenama “Pedeset nijansi sive” i “Bridgertona”, kamoli “365 dana”.

Razlika je drastična. Povrh toga, likove ovog filma uspijevamo upoznati i osjetiti njihovu privlačnost i privrženost. Nakon što se njezin suprug Clifford Chatterley (Matthew Duckett) vrati iz rata paraliziran od struka nadolje, Constance ga nastavlja voljeti, ali se sve više osjeća nesretnom i neispunjenom.

Kad on poželi nasljednika, predloži supruzi da nađe ljubavnika, striktno zbog impregnacije, nipošto strasti i zadovoljstva. No, požuda i ljubav se ne mogu kontrolirati kad je Constance i Oliver počnu konzumirati, iako znaju da ne bi smjeli. Ako se afera otkrije, posljedice mogu biti strašne, što potencira tenziju filma. Za likove marimo i stalo nam je da ostanu zajedno.

Redateljica dopušta da njihova veza prodiše dok hvata male i velike trenutke pupanja strasti i povezanosti, potencirajući emocije nadahnutom sinergijom fotografije i glazbe, tj isprepletanjem bijele puti ljubavnika i zelenila oko njih. Pristup je taktilan i poetski u povezivanju tijela i uma ljubavnika. Netflix je dobio dosad najbolju kostimiranu romansu, bolju od “Bridgertona” i “Uvjeravanja”.

U ulozi Cliffordove njegovateljice, medicinske sestre mrs. Bolton, nastupa Joely Richardson koja je, zanimljivo, glumila Constance u mini-serijskoj ekranizaciji iz 1993. godine, a Sean Bean je igrao Olivera.
