Prosinačka najava za dolazak filma "Bones and All" ("Kosti i sve") u hrvatska kina pojavila se negdje u isto vrijeme na stranicama "CineStara" kao i najava za "Fabelmanove" i "Kita". Sva tri naslova jednog su dana nestali iz najave, da bi "The Fabelmans" i "The Whale" ubrzo dobili nove siječanjske datume kinodistribucije, ali ne i "Bones and All".

Novi uradak Luce Guadagnina ("Rasprskavanje", "Skrivena ljubav", "Suspiria", serija "Mi smo to što jesmo") više se, nažalost, nije vratio na stranice "CineStara". U hrvatska kina "Kosti i sve" očito neće doći, zato nije bilo puno nećkanja oko gledanja filma u londonskom "Prince Charles Cinema" gdje je uredno igrao, i to baš na rođendan potpisnika ovih redaka.

Romantično-dramski kanibalski horor dobio je čast da bude pozicioniran kao središnji film šarolikog rođendanskog polumaratona, poslije "Interstellara" i prije "Rockyja". Ako "Bones and All" neće steći titulu (modernog) klasika kojem se rado vraćamo poput "Interstellara" i "Rockyja", svakako je zaslužio biti pogledan na kinoplatnu.

Ekranizaciji romana Camille DeAngelis iz 2015., prema adaptiranom scenariju stalnog suradnika Davida Kajganicha, talijanski redatelj je pristupio kao da na svoj način snima lirski ("road") film Terrencea Malicka u srcu Amerike, otprilike poput Chloe Zhao u "Zemlji nomada".

Fotografija Arsenija Khachaturana je poetična i osunčana, u savršenom skladu s ugođajnom glazbom Trenta Reznora i Atticusa Rossa. "Kosti i sve" jesu svojevrsna Malickova "Pustara" križana s kanibalističkim hororima "Iskonski nagon" Jima Micklea i "Sirovo" Julije Ducournau.

Međutim, lirski senzibiliteti ("Call Me By Your Name") bolje pristaju Guadagninu od žanrovsko-hororskih ("Suspiria") i to "Bones and All" čini neravnomjernim filmom koji svejedno znade zabljesnuti nekim inspiriranim trenutkom na razmeđu romanse i strave, kao pri početku priče ambijentirane u drugu polovicu osamdesetih, nedugo nakon što upoznamo protagonisticu, 18-godišnju Maren u tumačenju iznimno talentirane Taylor Russell ("Escape Room", "Waves", "Escape Room 2").

Maren je nova u školi i potencijalna buduća prijateljica zove je na "sleepover". Nešto je čudno s Maren, ali gledatelj ne može "uprijeti prstom" i detektirati što točno. Stvari postaju jasnije kad se ona iskrade na "sleepover" i tamo je privuče vršnjakinja, ali senzualni, čeznutljivi erotski kontakt sisanja njezina prsta biva naglo prekinut kad protagonistica nagonski zagrize taj prst kao iz ljute gladi i gotovo ga u cijelosti odvoji od ruke šokirane djevojke.

Shvativši što je napravila, Maren bježi odatle i dolazi do oca Franka (Andre Holland) koji u veoma kratkom roku orkestrira njihovo pakiranje i selidbu. Gledatelj sluti da su se samohrani otac i kći već nalazili u sličnim situacijama i započinjali život ispočetka u nekom novom gradu. No, Franku je to dozlogrdilo i on napušta Maren, ostavivši kćeri nešto novca i audiokasetu s nekim osnovnim informacijama o njezinim kanibalističkim porivima od malih nogu.

Naime, Maren je ljudožder, tzv. "eater", kanibalska inačica male vampirke iz filmova "Neka uđe onaj pravi" i "Pustite me unutra". "Eateri" žive na rubu društva kao vampiri, ali ne kao aristokrati, već lutalice i nomadi. Oni su gonjeni glađu za ljudskim mesom, ne samo krvi. Ne moraju se čuvati sunčeve svjetlosti, no nisu super snažni niti besmrtni.

Mitologija "eatera" je intrigantno uspostavljena, uz nemali utjecaj modernih vampirskih filmova tipa "Blizu tame" u kojima krvopijci ne žive u dvorcima, nego životare na cesti. Za mitologiju je zaslužan stari ekscentrični "eater" Sully (maniristični oskarovac Mark Rylance; "Most špijuna") koji je "namirisao" Maren i prepoznao da je njegova "vrsta".

Sully će biti Marenin vodič kroz njezino kanibalističko samootkriće ("Ne znam bi li plakala ili vrištala") i otkriti joj da ljud(ožder)i poput njih žive "ispod radara", da ne privuku pažnju na sebe, te saopćiti neka osnovna pravila, počevši od glavnog "never eat an eater".

Tako, Maren doznaje da "eatera" nema puno, ali ima ih "više nego misliš" i da su opasni za "non eatere". "Štogod to ti i ja imamo, mora biti nahranjeno. Željet ćeš više i više i više", govori Sully i poručuje "Ovo je tko si ti, nije bitno što si", prelamajući suštinu filma "Kosti i sve".

Kao i drugi Guadagninovi filmovi o odrastanju s adolescentima kao glavnim likovima, "Bones and All" je ljudska drama o (mladenačkom) otkrivanju i prihvaćanju samoga sebe, svog pravog "ja", svoje žudnje i zadovoljavanja vlastitih potreba. Dakle, onoga "tko si", ne "što si" (ovdje ljudožder), makar to podrazumijevalo izopćenost ili usamljenost, neprihvaćanje bliže okoline i uopće društva, odnosno potenciralo čežnju za konekcijom.

"Gladna sam", kaže Maren. Takva glad je Guadagninu u prvom planu, a ona hororska u drugom, što je podcrtano scenom kad se Sully i Maren pogoste nekom starijom ženom i kamera okrene pogled od njihova neljudskog proždiranja i traži humanost gledajući u uokvirene fotografije nesretnice s bližnjima, kao podsjetnik na to da je jednom živjela.

Kad Maren pobjegne od Sullyja i upozna vršnjačkog kanibala Leeja (Timothee Chalamet, inferioran glumački nadahutijoj partnerici), njih dvoje će postati partneri u zločinu i ljubavnici u nekolicini scena lišenih makabrične hororske tenzije i romantično-erotske kemije. Film se zbog toga pomalo gubi oko polovice, da bi se opet počeo pronalaziti prema kontemplativnom, proganjajućem kraju, kad romantični odnos Maren i Leeja zagriza dublje u kanibalsku tragiku. Prosinačka najava za dolazak filma "Bones and All" ("Kosti i sve") u hrvatska kina pojavila se negdje u isto vrijeme na stranicama "CineStara" kao i najava za "Fabelmanove" i "Kita". Sva tri naslova jednog su dana nestali iz najave, da bi "The Fabelmans" i "The Whale" ubrzo dobili nove siječanjske datume kinodistribucije, ali ne i "Bones and All".

Novi uradak Luce Guadagnina ("Rasprskavanje", "Skrivena ljubav", "Suspiria", serija "Mi smo to što jesmo") više se, nažalost, nije vratio na stranice "CineStara". U hrvatska kina "Kosti i sve" očito neće doći, zato nije bilo puno nećkanja oko gledanja filma u londonskom "Prince Charles Cinema" gdje je uredno igrao, i to baš na rođendan potpisnika ovih redaka.

Romantično-dramski kanibalski horor dobio je čast da bude pozicioniran kao središnji film šarolikog rođendanskog polumaratona, poslije "Interstellara" i prije "Rockyja". Ako "Bones and All" neće steći titulu (modernog) klasika kojem se rado vraćamo poput "Interstellara" i "Rockyja", svakako je zaslužio biti pogledan na kinoplatnu.

Ekranizaciji romana Camille DeAngelis iz 2015., prema adaptiranom scenariju stalnog suradnika Davida Kajganicha, talijanski redatelj je pristupio kao da na svoj način snima lirski ("road") film Terrencea Malicka u srcu Amerike, otprilike poput Chloe Zhao u "Zemlji nomada".

Fotografija Arsenija Khachaturana je poetična i osunčana, u savršenom skladu s ugođajnom glazbom Trenta Reznora i Atticusa Rossa. "Kosti i sve" jesu svojevrsna Malickova "Pustara" križana s kanibalističkim hororima "Iskonski nagon" Jima Micklea i "Sirovo" Julije Ducournau.

Međutim, lirski senzibiliteti ("Call Me By Your Name") bolje pristaju Guadagninu od žanrovsko-hororskih ("Suspiria") i to "Bones and All" čini neravnomjernim filmom koji svejedno znade zabljesnuti nekim inspiriranim trenutkom na razmeđu romanse i strave, kao pri početku priče ambijentirane u drugu polovicu osamdesetih, nedugo nakon što upoznamo protagonisticu, 18-godišnju Maren u tumačenju iznimno talentirane Taylor Russell ("Escape Room", "Waves", "Escape Room 2").

Maren je nova u školi i potencijalna buduća prijateljica zove je na "sleepover". Nešto je čudno s Maren, ali gledatelj ne može "uprijeti prstom" i detektirati što točno. Stvari postaju jasnije kad se ona iskrade na "sleepover" i tamo je privuče vršnjakinja, ali senzualni, čeznutljivi erotski kontakt sisanja njezina prsta biva naglo prekinut kad protagonistica nagonski zagrize taj prst kao iz ljute gladi i gotovo ga u cijelosti odvoji od ruke šokirane djevojke.

Shvativši što je napravila, Maren bježi odatle i dolazi do oca Franka (Andre Holland) koji u veoma kratkom roku orkestrira njihovo pakiranje i selidbu. Gledatelj sluti da su se samohrani otac i kći već nalazili u sličnim situacijama i započinjali život ispočetka u nekom novom gradu. No, Franku je to dozlogrdilo i on napušta Maren, ostavivši kćeri nešto novca i audiokasetu s nekim osnovnim informacijama o njezinim kanibalističkim porivima od malih nogu.

Naime, Maren je ljudožder, tzv. "eater", kanibalska inačica male vampirke iz filmova "Neka uđe onaj pravi" i "Pustite me unutra". "Eateri" žive na rubu društva kao vampiri, ali ne kao aristokrati, već lutalice i nomadi. Oni su gonjeni glađu za ljudskim mesom, ne samo krvi. Ne moraju se čuvati sunčeve svjetlosti, no nisu super snažni niti besmrtni.

Mitologija "eatera" je intrigantno uspostavljena, uz nemali utjecaj modernih vampirskih filmova tipa "Blizu tame" u kojima krvopijci ne žive u dvorcima, nego životare na cesti. Za mitologiju je zaslužan stari ekscentrični "eater" Sully (maniristični oskarovac Mark Rylance; "Most špijuna") koji je "namirisao" Maren i prepoznao da je njegova "vrsta".

Sully će biti Marenin vodič kroz njezino kanibalističko samootkriće ("Ne znam bi li plakala ili vrištala") i otkriti joj da ljud(ožder)i poput njih žive "ispod radara", da ne privuku pažnju na sebe, te saopćiti neka osnovna pravila, počevši od glavnog "never eat an eater".

Tako, Maren doznaje da "eatera" nema puno, ali ima ih "više nego misliš" i da su opasni za "non eatere". "Štogod to ti i ja imamo, mora biti nahranjeno. Željet ćeš više i više i više", govori Sully i poručuje "Ovo je tko si ti, nije bitno što si", prelamajući suštinu filma "Kosti i sve".

Kao i drugi Guadagninovi filmovi o odrastanju s adolescentima kao glavnim likovima, "Bones and All" je ljudska drama o (mladenačkom) otkrivanju i prihvaćanju samoga sebe, svog pravog "ja", svoje žudnje i zadovoljavanja vlastitih potreba. Dakle, onoga "tko si", ne "što si" (ovdje ljudožder), makar to podrazumijevalo izopćenost ili usamljenost, neprihvaćanje bliže okoline i uopće društva, odnosno potenciralo čežnju za konekcijom.

"Gladna sam", kaže Maren. Takva glad je Guadagninu u prvom planu, a ona hororska u drugom, što je podcrtano scenom kad se Sully i Maren pogoste nekom starijom ženom i kamera okrene pogled od njihova neljudskog proždiranja i traži humanost gledajući u uokvirene fotografije nesretnice s bližnjima, kao podsjetnik na to da je jednom živjela.

Kad Maren pobjegne od Sullyja i upozna vršnjačkog kanibala Leeja (Timothee Chalamet, inferioran glumački nadahutijoj partnerici), njih dvoje će postati partneri u zločinu i ljubavnici u nekolicini scena lišenih makabrične hororske tenzije i romantično-erotske kemije. Film se zbog toga pomalo gubi oko polovice, da bi se opet počeo pronalaziti prema kontemplativnom, proganjajućem kraju, kad romantični odnos Maren i Leeja zagriza dublje u kanibalsku tragiku. Kosti i skoro sve.

‘Kosti i sve‘: Volite se, ljudožderi

Prosinačka najava za dolazak filma "Bones and All" ("Kosti i sve") u hrvatska kina pojavila se negdje u isto vrijeme na stranicama "CineStara" kao i najava za "Fabelmanove" i "Kita". Sva tri naslova jednog su dana nestali iz najave, da bi "The Fabelmans" i "The Whale" ubrzo dobili nove siječanjske datume kinodistribucije, ali ne i "Bones and All".

Novi uradak Luce Guadagnina ("Rasprskavanje", "Skrivena ljubav", "Suspiria", serija "Mi smo to što jesmo") više se, nažalost, nije vratio na stranice "CineStara". U hrvatska kina "Kosti i sve" očito neće doći, zato nije bilo puno nećkanja oko gledanja filma u londonskom "Prince Charles Cinema" gdje je uredno igrao, i to baš na rođendan potpisnika ovih redaka.

Romantično-dramski kanibalski horor dobio je čast da bude pozicioniran...
