Prošlo je točno 125 godina od prve projekcije prvog filma braće Lumiere. Taj film, kratkometražni “Izlazak radnika iz tvornice Lumiere” (“La sortie de l’usine Lumière à Lyon”/ “Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon”), imao je privatnu premijeru 22. ožujka pradavne 1895., a prikazao se za deset gledatelja i svijet nakon toga više nije bio isti.

Nakon što su izumili kinematograf, pionirska braća Auguste i Louis na taj su način predstavili film i kao izum za mase. Ovaj film u trajanju od minute snimljen je na 25-milimetarskoj vrpci, a projicirao se brzinom od 16 sličica po sekundi.

Upravo su s “Izlaskom radnika iz tvornice” Lumierovci počeli uspostavljati gramatiku igranog filma i demonstrirali moć kinematografije da snimljeni materijal načini besmrtnim.

Istodobno su oblikovali i dokumentarni izričaj snimajući stvarnost onakvom kakva jest, odnosno ovjekovječujući sličice (iz) života, zbog čega su njihovi filmovi bili nazvani “actualités” ili “actuality films”.

Počevši s “Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon”, braća Lumiere snimili su stotinjak filmova u manje od deset godina i predala štafetu Georgesu Meliesu (“Put na Mjesec”) za daljnje inovacije filmskih postupaka te Edwinu S. Porteru za revolucionarnu “Veliku pljačku vlaka” kao prvi narativni(ji) film.

Svaki njihov idući film oslikavao je točno ono što je sadržano u njegovu naslovu, a najsnažnije reakcije je proizveo “Ulazak vlaka u stanicu” s prizorom lokomotive od koje(g) su gledatelji počeli poskakivati na stolicama i bježati iz kina u strahu da ih ne pregazi, čime su braća Lumiere simultano uspostavila žanrove trilera i horora.

Ipak, vlak ne bi ušao u stanicu da prije njega radnici nisu izišli iz tvornice Lumiere. Danas, 125 godina poslije, obljetnica prijelomnog “Izlaska radnika iz tvornice Lumiere” se, ironično, slavi s tugom u filmofilmskom oku – u trenutku kad su kina diljem svijeta zatvorena zbog pandemije koronavirusa. No, treba je proslaviti, pa makar u kućnom kinu.

Prošlo je točno 125 godina od prve projekcije prvog filma braće Lumiere. Taj film, kratkometražni “Izlazak radnika iz tvornice Lumiere” (“La sortie de l’usine Lumière à Lyon”/ “Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon”), imao je privatnu premijeru 22. ožujka pradavne 1895., a prikazao se za deset gledatelja i svijet nakon toga više nije bio isti.

Nakon što su izumili kinematograf, pionirska braća Auguste i Louis na taj su način predstavili film i kao izum za mase. Ovaj film u trajanju od minute snimljen je na 25-milimetarskoj vrpci, a projicirao se brzinom od 16 sličica po sekundi.

Upravo su s “Izlaskom radnika iz tvornice” Lumierovci počeli uspostavljati gramatiku igranog filma i demonstrirali moć kinematografije da snimljeni materijal načini besmrtnim.

Istodobno su oblikovali i dokumentarni izričaj snimajući stvarnost onakvom kakva jest, odnosno ovjekovječujući sličice (iz) života, zbog čega su njihovi filmovi bili nazvani “actualités” ili “actuality films”.

Počevši s “Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon”, braća Lumiere snimili su stotinjak filmova u manje od deset godina i predala štafetu Georgesu Meliesu (“Put na Mjesec”) za daljnje inovacije filmskih postupaka te Edwinu S. Porteru za revolucionarnu “Veliku pljačku vlaka” kao prvi narativni(ji) film.

Svaki njihov idući film oslikavao je točno ono što je sadržano u njegovu naslovu, a najsnažnije reakcije je proizveo “Ulazak vlaka u stanicu” s prizorom lokomotive od koje(g) su gledatelji počeli poskakivati na stolicama i bježati iz kina u strahu da ih ne pregazi, čime su braća Lumiere simultano uspostavila žanrove trilera i horora.

Ipak, vlak ne bi ušao u stanicu da prije njega radnici nisu izišli iz tvornice Lumiere. Danas, 125 godina poslije, obljetnica prijelomnog “Izlaska radnika iz tvornice Lumiere” se, ironično, slavi s tugom u filmofilmskom oku – u trenutku kad su kina diljem svijeta zatvorena zbog pandemije koronavirusa. No, treba je proslaviti, pa makar u kućnom kinu.

‘Izlazak radnika iz tvornice’ u čekanju ulaska publike u kina: 125. obljetnica prve filmske projekcije pala u doba zatvorenih kinodvorana radi korone

Prošlo je točno 125 godina od prve projekcije prvog filma braće Lumiere. Taj film, kratkometražni “Izlazak radnika iz tvornice Lumiere” (“La sortie de l’usine Lumière à Lyon”/ “Workers Leaving The Lumière Factory in Lyon”), imao je privatnu premijeru 22. ožujka pradavne 1895., a prikazao se za deset gledatelja i svijet nakon toga više nije bio isti.

Nakon što su izumili kinematograf, pionirska braća Auguste i Louis na taj su način predstavili film i kao izum za mase. Ovaj film u trajanju od minute snimljen je na 25-milimetarskoj vrpci, a projicirao se brzinom od 16 sličica po sekundi.

Upravo su s “Izlaskom radnika iz tvornice” Lumierovci počeli uspostavljati gramatiku igranog filma i demonstrirali moć kinematografije da snimljeni materijal načini...
