Druga sezona "Bridgertona", Netflixovog serijskog megahita snimljenog prema serijalu knjiga Julije Quinn, zasigurno je najočekivanija premijera neke serije u prvom tromjesečju 2022. godine. "Bridgerton" je bio najgledanija serija na Netflixu (gledanija i od "Damina gambita") do pojave "Igre lignje".

Publiku je privukao atraktivan koncept klasične kostimirane romanse sa spletkama i tračevima, presvučen u erotsko ruho. Otprilike kao da se Emma našla u "Pedeset nijansi sive", a mr. Darcy postao svojevrsni mr. Grey. Dakle, s jedne strane Jane Austen, s druge EL James u spoju koji je funkcionirao tek djelomično, a po (ne)kvaliteti bio više u duhu ekranizacija potonje autorice.

Otkopčavanje zakopčanih kostimiranih ostvarenja djelovalo je kao (trenutno) osvježenje, ali to je jedino što je "Bridgerton" činilo posebnim ili posebnijim. Ako se ukloni erotika, ostaje jedna gledljiva, no bolno prosječna kostimirana romansa s elementima sapunice, daleko od filmova poput "Ljubavi i prijateljstva" i "Emme", o "Razumu i osjećajima" i "Ponosu i predrasudama" da ne govorimo.

Pitanje koje postavlja druga sezona serije kreatorice Shonde Rimes ("Projekt Anna") jest ima li "Bridgertona" bez erotike? Naime, "Bridgerton 2" oponaša kostimiranost i romantičnost prethodnika, ali oslobođen je njegovog ključnog hitoidnog sastojka – seksa i golotinje.

Do posljednje, osme epizode, gledatelji ne mogu ni na prste jedne ruke izbrojati golišave scene, tek jedna muška stražnjica i ženske grudi, a i završni seks nije ni izbliza razgolićen kao u "season 1". Smiona je to odluka da serija postane zakopčanija i konzervativnija, čak i subverzivna.

I "Bridgerton 2" je toga svjestan, odnosno svjestan neminovne usporedbe s prve sezone i težine da dosegne njegov uspjeh lišen erotike i glavnih glumaca Phoebe Dynevor i Rege-Jeana Pagea u ulogama Daphne Bridgerton i vojvode od Hastingsa s obzirom da je spisateljica Quinn mijenja fokus od knjige do knjige.

"Brate, želim ti ti svu sreću ovu sezonu, trebat će ti", Daphne govori vikontu Anthonyju Bridgertonu (Jonathan Bailey), novom muškom protagonistu serije u kojoj se ona sada nalazi na samoj margini kadra, svedena na sporednu ulogu, bolje reći epizodnu.

Pod "sezonu" Daphne misli na "društvenu sezonu", vrijeme kad pripadnici društvene elite britanskog društva održavaju balove i slične događaje, ali između redaka se, kao i u još nekim rečenicama, cilja i na "season 2" ove serije kojoj će trebati sreća da sustigne i nadmaši gledanost prethodnika.

"Čeznem za nekim svježim, nekim neočekivanim da okrene ovu sezonu naglavačke", čujemo u jednom trenutku, a u drugom "Sezona neće biti za svakoga". Nesmnjivo, "Bridgerton 2" okreće naglavačke "Bridgerton 1" bez erotike i neće biti po guštu najvećih fanova prve sezone naviknutih da romansa ide u paketu sa seksom.

Nešto tako načelno treba respektirati, posebice jer druga sezona u suštini nije lošija od prve, mjestimice je čak i malo bolja glumački i režijski u identičnom televizijskom prosjeku, svakako raskošnija kostimografski i scenografski.

Sezona dva je klasičnija i u zapletu gotovo da parafrazira "Cyrana" s obzirom na ljubavni trokut vikonta s Edwinom Sharma (Charithra Chandran) s kojom se ovaj planira oženiti kako bi zadovoljili svoje familije, iako njegovo srce pripada njezinoj starijoj sestri Kate (Simone Ashley).

Vikont i Kate samo naizgled mrze jedno drugo i da se vole jasno je u lijepoj sceni plesa, ozvučenoj klasičnom obradom pjesme "Dancing On My Own", jedne u nizu takvih u seriji slično prvoj sezoni, sve po uzoru na "Moulin Rouge" ("Material Girl", "You Oughta Know"...).

Konflikt dužnosti i srca, razuma i osjećaja, potentno je postavljen u drugoj sezoni i slojevitiji u odnosu na zaplet prve. Zato je šteta da "Bridgerton 2" razvlači taj konflikt na osam epizoda, od kojih neke traju i više od sat vremena. Akterima predugo treba da budu zajedno, još duže da završe u krevetu, neovisno o tome što znate da će se to dogoditi.

Druga sezona "Bridgertona", Netflixovog serijskog megahita snimljenog prema serijalu knjiga Julije Quinn, zasigurno je najočekivanija premijera neke serije u prvom tromjesečju 2022. godine. "Bridgerton" je bio najgledanija serija na Netflixu (gledanija i od "Damina gambita") do pojave "Igre lignje".

Publiku je privukao atraktivan koncept klasične kostimirane romanse sa spletkama i tračevima, presvučen u erotsko ruho. Otprilike kao da se Emma našla u "Pedeset nijansi sive", a mr. Darcy postao svojevrsni mr. Grey. Dakle, s jedne strane Jane Austen, s druge EL James u spoju koji je funkcionirao tek djelomično, a po (ne)kvaliteti bio više u duhu ekranizacija potonje autorice.

Otkopčavanje zakopčanih kostimiranih ostvarenja djelovalo je kao (trenutno) osvježenje, ali to je jedino što je "Bridgerton" činilo posebnim ili posebnijim. Ako se ukloni erotika, ostaje jedna gledljiva, no bolno prosječna kostimirana romansa s elementima sapunice, daleko od filmova poput "Ljubavi i prijateljstva" i "Emme", o "Razumu i osjećajima" i "Ponosu i predrasudama" da ne govorimo.

Pitanje koje postavlja druga sezona serije kreatorice Shonde Rimes ("Projekt Anna") jest ima li "Bridgertona" bez erotike? Naime, "Bridgerton 2" oponaša kostimiranost i romantičnost prethodnika, ali oslobođen je njegovog ključnog hitoidnog sastojka – seksa i golotinje.

Do posljednje, osme epizode, gledatelji ne mogu ni na prste jedne ruke izbrojati golišave scene, tek jedna muška stražnjica i ženske grudi, a i završni seks nije ni izbliza razgolićen kao u "season 1". Smiona je to odluka da serija postane zakopčanija i konzervativnija, čak i subverzivna.

I "Bridgerton 2" je toga svjestan, odnosno svjestan neminovne usporedbe s prve sezone i težine da dosegne njegov uspjeh lišen erotike i glavnih glumaca Phoebe Dynevor i Rege-Jeana Pagea u ulogama Daphne Bridgerton i vojvode od Hastingsa s obzirom da je spisateljica Quinn mijenja fokus od knjige do knjige.

"Brate, želim ti ti svu sreću ovu sezonu, trebat će ti", Daphne govori vikontu Anthonyju Bridgertonu (Jonathan Bailey), novom muškom protagonistu serije u kojoj se ona sada nalazi na samoj margini kadra, svedena na sporednu ulogu, bolje reći epizodnu.

Pod "sezonu" Daphne misli na "društvenu sezonu", vrijeme kad pripadnici društvene elite britanskog društva održavaju balove i slične događaje, ali između redaka se, kao i u još nekim rečenicama, cilja i na "season 2" ove serije kojoj će trebati sreća da sustigne i nadmaši gledanost prethodnika.

"Čeznem za nekim svježim, nekim neočekivanim da okrene ovu sezonu naglavačke", čujemo u jednom trenutku, a u drugom "Sezona neće biti za svakoga". Nesmnjivo, "Bridgerton 2" okreće naglavačke "Bridgerton 1" bez erotike i neće biti po guštu najvećih fanova prve sezone naviknutih da romansa ide u paketu sa seksom.

Nešto tako načelno treba respektirati, posebice jer druga sezona u suštini nije lošija od prve, mjestimice je čak i malo bolja glumački i režijski u identičnom televizijskom prosjeku, svakako raskošnija kostimografski i scenografski.

Sezona dva je klasičnija i u zapletu gotovo da parafrazira "Cyrana" s obzirom na ljubavni trokut vikonta s Edwinom Sharma (Charithra Chandran) s kojom se ovaj planira oženiti kako bi zadovoljili svoje familije, iako njegovo srce pripada njezinoj starijoj sestri Kate (Simone Ashley).

Vikont i Kate samo naizgled mrze jedno drugo i da se vole jasno je u lijepoj sceni plesa, ozvučenoj klasičnom obradom pjesme "Dancing On My Own", jedne u nizu takvih u seriji slično prvoj sezoni, sve po uzoru na "Moulin Rouge" ("Material Girl", "You Oughta Know"...).

Konflikt dužnosti i srca, razuma i osjećaja, potentno je postavljen u drugoj sezoni i slojevitiji u odnosu na zaplet prve. Zato je šteta da "Bridgerton 2" razvlači taj konflikt na osam epizoda, od kojih neke traju i više od sat vremena. Akterima predugo treba da budu zajedno, još duže da završe u krevetu, neovisno o tome što znate da će se to dogoditi.
