Stado ovaca Zdenka Barišića iz naselja Mlinište u općini Zažablje kod Metkovića napali su vukovi.

U krvavom pohodu zvijeri su rastrgale osam odraslih rasplodnih ovaca i 12 janjaca. Sedam ovaca su izgrizli pa zbog težine ozljeda najvjerojatnije neće preživjeti.

Stravičan je to prizor masakra na predjelu Gaj, tek kojih četristotinjak metara od naseljenih kuća. Petnaest ovaca je nestalo, odnosno vlasnik nije pronašao njihove strvine. Barišić pretpostavlja da su njegovu stoku napala dva odrasla vuka i nekoliko mladih vukova godišnjaka.

- Vidimo po ranama na ovcama da je bilo mladih i odraslih vukova, neke ozljede su preduboke dok su druge površinske - pojašnjava naš sugovornik, koji na svom OPG-u ekološki uzgaja sve vrste domaćih životinja, ovce, krave, koze, konje i magarce.

Blago je ugroženo, jer se vukovi mogu vratiti. Životinje su evidentirane i u sustavu su poticaja. Imaju ušne markice i oznake, ali bit će problem sa zaklanim i nestalim janjcima koji nisu bili označeni.

Osim pretrpljenog straha i panike te financijskog gubitka od najmanje 3600 eura, Zdenko Barišić, nakon krvavog vučijeg pira, mora rješavati brojne birokratske zavrzlame kako bi mogao od države naplatiti štetu. Naime, najprije treba obavjesti županijsku veterinarsku inspekciju koja ima zadaću utvrditi je li stoku zaklao vuk ili neka druga životinja.

Zatim se svi materijali, zapisnici i fotografije upućuju u Državni zavod za zaštitu prirode, koji zatim isplaćuje novčanu naknadu oštećenim stočarima. Na svu sreću ovlašteni sudski vještak iz Makarske je već bio i nedvojbeno utvrdio da je štetu počinio vuk.

Premda pričinjavaju velike štete, vukovi su zaštićene životinje. Tako prema važećim hrvatskim zakonima, svaki onaj tko ubije vuka kaznit će se novčanom kaznom u rasponu od 929 eura do 3981 euro, bez obzira kakvu štetu vuk prethodno pričini.

Tako zakon spriječava stočare i lovačka društva da se udruže i povedu hajku na ove predatore, koje su se posljednjih godina namnožile. Posebno harače pograničnim područjima između Dalmacije i južne Hercegovine u što spadaju i dijelovi Općine Zažablje.

Vučji napadi plaše ne samo vlasnike domaćih životinja već i ostale stanovnike brdskih područja uz dolinu Neretve. Stočari su ogorčeni na državne institucije, jer štite zvijeri, dok su ljudi i životinje prepušteni na milost i nemilost tim krvoločnim životinjama.

Stado ovaca Zdenka Barišića iz naselja Mlinište u općini Zažablje kod Metkovića napali su vukovi.

U krvavom pohodu zvijeri su rastrgale osam odraslih rasplodnih ovaca i 12 janjaca. Sedam ovaca su izgrizli pa zbog težine ozljeda najvjerojatnije neće preživjeti.

Stravičan je to prizor masakra na predjelu Gaj, tek kojih četristotinjak metara od naseljenih kuća. Petnaest ovaca je nestalo, odnosno vlasnik nije pronašao njihove strvine. Barišić pretpostavlja da su njegovu stoku napala dva odrasla vuka i nekoliko mladih vukova godišnjaka.

- Vidimo po ranama na ovcama da je bilo mladih i odraslih vukova, neke ozljede su preduboke dok su druge površinske - pojašnjava naš sugovornik, koji na svom OPG-u ekološki uzgaja sve vrste domaćih životinja, ovce, krave, koze, konje i magarce.

Blago je ugroženo, jer se vukovi mogu vratiti. Životinje su evidentirane i u sustavu su poticaja. Imaju ušne markice i oznake, ali bit će problem sa zaklanim i nestalim janjcima koji nisu bili označeni.

Osim pretrpljenog straha i panike te financijskog gubitka od najmanje 3600 eura, Zdenko Barišić, nakon krvavog vučijeg pira, mora rješavati brojne birokratske zavrzlame kako bi mogao od države naplatiti štetu. Naime, najprije treba obavjesti županijsku veterinarsku inspekciju koja ima zadaću utvrditi je li stoku zaklao vuk ili neka druga životinja.

Zatim se svi materijali, zapisnici i fotografije upućuju u Državni zavod za zaštitu prirode, koji zatim isplaćuje novčanu naknadu oštećenim stočarima. Na svu sreću ovlašteni sudski vještak iz Makarske je već bio i nedvojbeno utvrdio da je štetu počinio vuk.

Premda pričinjavaju velike štete, vukovi su zaštićene životinje. Tako prema važećim hrvatskim zakonima, svaki onaj tko ubije vuka kaznit će se novčanom kaznom u rasponu od 929 eura do 3981 euro, bez obzira kakvu štetu vuk prethodno pričini.

Tako zakon spriječava stočare i lovačka društva da se udruže i povedu hajku na ove predatore, koje su se posljednjih godina namnožile. Posebno harače pograničnim područjima između Dalmacije i južne Hercegovine u što spadaju i dijelovi Općine Zažablje.

Vučji napadi plaše ne samo vlasnike domaćih životinja već i ostale stanovnike brdskih područja uz dolinu Neretve. Stočari su ogorčeni na državne institucije, jer štite zvijeri, dok su ljudi i životinje prepušteni na milost i nemilost tim krvoločnim životinjama.
